This is overall a great monitor. Unfortunately, if you're buying this hoping to avoid a pair of speakers, you'll be disappointed. This is probably an unavoidable problem with a design like this: the monitor is so slim that there literally is no room for decent speakers. These are so small that they have no volume and hardly any sound quality. This monitor was bought for a station with limited space so I was hoping to avoid having to make room for a pair of speakers. I wound up adding speakers anyway. No real problem, the monitor is so slim that I had room for them on the computer stand after all.
This product has... Attractive design, Easy to setup, Poor quality speakers, HDMI connection

What's not so great: Color and contrast is BAD.
I purchase this monitor last Fri. Took it home and plugged it in and it had a red hue that I can not get out, the brightness and contrast I could not get to adjust. It seems to be washed out that it is not viewable no matter how you set the angle. I will be returning it to the store?

I love it. It displays everything bright and vividly. Downloaded movies are exceptionally clean and clear. I did a lot of research before buying and I do not believe you will find anything better anywhere close to the price. Although my computer does handle resolution greater than this monitor produces.

This monitor is pure awesome. I was looking for a decently priced, lightweight monitor that I can connect both my PC and console(s) to. The fact that this monitor has 2 HDMI inputs allows me to do just that. You can also plug your speakers into the monitor so that you can use your own speakers (vital for console games). The image quality is very good, though I prefer a glossy screen.
Some tiny complaints are:
1) Even more HDMI inputs would have been nice for multiple consoles.
2) I like glossy screens and this doesn't use that.

What's great about it: Great picture when it worked
What's not so great: It only worked for one week.
Ordered two of these monitors online, received them last Wednesday (8 days ago). Bot monitors installed and worked fine in the beginning. I started to have an occasional flashing of my monitor a few days later, and my tendency was to blame the cheap video card I bought. Last night the flashing became more pronounced, happening ever 5-10 seconds. Within half an hour my monitor looked like a strobe light, flashing 2-3 times/second. I took the monitor into my wife's room and connected it to her computer, expecting I would validate my belief it was the video card, but the problem continued so it definitely is the monitor. Since it's been only 8 days customer service said I could return it, no questions asked. I am taking it to the local store tonight, and I will update you if I have any problems at all getting satisfaction from them. Today I say proceed with caution on this product, which is too bad because I've never had an issue with any Viewsonic product before, but I am definitely going to buy the protection agreement. Sucks when you have to pay extra to get a company to stand behind their product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Image and Brightness are top notch
What's not so great: Sound is basic, but still not horrible for monitor speakers
As the previous reviews have mentioned, this monitor gives you an amazing picture. For the price, its specs are hard to beat. The speakers are just good enough for listening to online videos such as YouTube, but if you are interested in watching movies or maybe using it as a primary audio source, you may be slightly disappointed. This is a great monitor!!!

What's not so great: Speakers will not suffice more a fantastic movie watching experience
I compared every monitor here on Best Buy and some of the most popular on Amazon that has screens around 23-25" and this is the one to go with. To highlight some of the unique features that makes this so:

I love it ! Going to order another one to set up duel screens. Also has very fast refresh rate to play games on, I even hooked up my ps3 to it and noticed that i did not have any lag playing online.
