Very easy to use charger. Love the fact that you can leave the adapters in the controller while playing. Beats using the 1 short charging cord that comes with the PS3. I now have 2 of these and when I buy my 5th controller I will buy another charging unit.

What's great about it: Easy to set up, small size
I saw this item not too long ago and decided to buy it. I read some reviews where people complained about the difficulty to get the controllers into the station to start charging but I must say that I have not had that issue. This is one of the best accessories I have bought for my PS3. The controllers fit right in, the charge very well and it helps me keep my gaming area clean by not having cables laying around.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I Loved this item. I just pluged in the adapter to the controller and then set the controller into the base and it charges. it does it over night so in morning when i am up wife and kids can play and watch movies. with out having to keep the controller plugged into the ps3

This is a no brainer IF you have 2 controllers. Simple and functional with great form factor. Using this accessory helps remove the cable clutter and at the same time saves the USB slot for other use.

Charges it. The clip that attaches to the mini usb slot on the top of the controller does not get in the way of my hands. I did worry about it when I was attaching it to my controllers.
Otherwise, I love it

What's great about it: It's a great way to keep my Playstation 3 Motion controllers fully charged and ready for use.
What's not so great: Nothing I could see.
It is very useful because my Platstation 3 Move motion controllers will be fully charged and ready for use. It was very easy to set up and it is very convenient to use.

What's great about it: Compact, easy of use. Just slip it in and its charging.
What's not so great: I did not buy it sooner.
Wanted a PS3 charger. Got tired of having to recharge with the PS3
unit while it had to be on. It was this or the Energizer one. Did not like
the bad reviews and the lights on the energizer charger. Then i saw
this one for the same price. But wait..caught it on sale for $ 19.99,
half the price. It is well built and does not have the glowing red and
green lights the energizer has which i did not want. It's compact and
works great. My controller is now always ready for action without
the worry of seeing that dialog box " charger is getting low".
Those days are gone and my PS3 can be off to save from wear
and tear. When charging the controller the red lights blink as they would if
you were using the PS3 unit instead.When the charge is complete
the red lights go off. No regrets. Love it.

This is a great unit to have since you can only charge one dualshock remote control at a time with the PS3. This allows you to charge 2 remotes easily. No messing with the PS3 or the USB cable. Definitely a worthwhile purchase if you have multiple gamers in your house.

What's great about it: Super easy and simple to use.
What's not so great: Scared that the charge pins might eventually fail.
This is great if you love playing your games without having to worry about the charge of your battery and remembering where your cables have gone. I have mine setting right next to my door so I can drop it in as I walk out the door and pick it up when I come back in and have a full charge.

Best solution "available". Not sure its the best solution possible as you have to connect an extra piece of plastic to your controller so it fits in the charger.
All of the other available products seem to be the same though.

What's great about it: Looks great, leaves your USB ports free, zero trouble using it, charges fast.
What's not so great: Nothing, excellent product.
I avoided this charger until Sony decided to lower its price during its "Play Days" event. I don't know why I didn't buy this before, charging every controller using the very short cable that comes with your system is a hassle, and more so when you have several controllers, like me. Buying a new cable, even if it's longer is not a good idea, as they are a bit pricey just for a simple cable.
Its very easy to use, you put the adapter on the controller and then put the controller into the charger and push it down until it clicks, done.
It fully charges your controller in about 2 and a half hours, and unlike the charging cable, you plug this into a power supply, not a USB port, so you can have those free for your headset, keyboard, peripherials, etc.
And also, instead of having your controllers lay around everywhere, it also works as a controller stand, it looks good, sleek design.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A nice compact design; it charged my two DualShock3 controllers in no time, and you won't even notice the charging clip that attaches to the controller. A great deal at the sale price. If you don't already have a PS3 remote controller, the charger/remote bundle is an even better deal.
The only con is that since it's AC powered, I wish it had at least one extra USB port in the back to charge additional accessories, like the PS3 Bluetooth headset that I also own. Also, I haven't seen it, but it would be great if Sony sold the charging clips separately for those with more than two controllers.
I would recommend this to a friend!
