This camra is a great camra! But there are two things that i don't really like about it. Frist yes when i bought the camra i knew that there werent alot of features but even though there arent alot of features, the ones that are on the camra are the ones that you would use all of the time. Second, once you get the camra youll fall in love with it! BUT the thing that i really didnt fall in love with was that some times when your in a certein type of light the pictures come out almost like an orange yellow. Once you know when to use the flash and when not too all of your pictures will come out great :). I love my camra. Its great! Its a great size and there is a little pocket in the case where you can put your money in. Also when you put your battery in the camra make sure that its locked in so it dosent fall out. And if there is a better deal online then buy it online BUT AT THE STORES COMPUTER! The reason why is because me and my dad went to the store and then went home to buy it at home but when we got home and bought it the worenty started on that day because they had it at the store. I hope this reviwe was very helpfull! enjoy your new camra!

What's great about it: Takes great pictures
What's not so great: Won't charge while plugged into computer
This is a good point and shoot camera which is what I was looking for. It takes really good pictures. I love panorama feature. It also takes really good video. I wish it had a few more features such as the ability to take B&W and Sepia pictures but it is a $200 camera so what can I expect. I really like it. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't charge when I plug it into my computer. I have to use the charger that came with it which I don't care for because it doesn't have a cord on it so I can plug it in behind my night stand and then put the charger on my night stand. I also prefer it using AA batteries instead of a rechargeable because I might not always be near an electric outlet to charge it but I can always carry extra AA batteries with me. But again, it is hard to find a camera that doesn't have a rechargeable battery. I wish it had also come with a camera case and a card. Overall, I really like the camera and the other things are just small things aren't deal breakers. I would recommend this camera.

Its a good deal but we could have been given accessories like memory card,camera cover .
Optical zoom is excellent.
Picture clarity is awesome.
Photo during darkness is of good quality.
Smile mode is one of the nice feature.

I was looking for something that was compact enough I could put into a pocket and still get decent shots with it. I haven't been disappointed. Using the fireworks option, I actually got nice shots of fireworks.

What's great about it: great value; pretty easy to use, may take a little practice; beautiful pictures
What's not so great: If you play with the manual settings as much as I do, you may want to buy a spare battery to have with you.
I'll start off by saying that I love this camera. I have had 2 Sony’s in the past, the first was stolen, the 2nd one, the zoom got bent after many years and hundreds of thousands of pictures with it. I love Sony’s products; it's almost all that I buy. This camera has some really great features, and is fairly easy to use. It has the selection dial on top like usual, however, I was disappointed to see that there are only a small handful of choices on the dial, even tho there are blank spots on the dial where there could have been more options. I am used to quickly speeding thru the dial of my old one to go from landscape to ISO to flash; not so easy with this one. You have to go to the scene selection option on the dial and select once you get there. The firework setting in the scene selection is AWESOME! I took some great 4th of July firework pics. The panorama option is a fantastic idea and works seamlessly. It took a little practice to figure out where I needed to start to get everything I wanted into the picture. The video quality is great, I love that you can zoom in and out with this camera, and you couldn’t do that with older Sony’s. There are 2 automatic settings on this camera, I can’t really say much about them because I don’t think I’ve used them yet. That’s because I LOVE the manual capability with this “point-and-shoot” camera. The manual setting allows you to change how much or little light you are letting in and it makes for some gorgeous photos in settings that normally wouldn’t have been as vibrant. You can take some really great photos at night without really having to worry about blurring if you move too much, you can darken it up on a very bright day…whatever your little heart desires! Everything else about this camera is very easy to use, when looking thru pics, you have the option to pull up a calendar and goto a specific date that you took a picture instead of waiting to wade thru them. This camera is DEFINITELY worth the price. I have already recommended this camera to many friends and people in my family keep asking to borrow it for trips! Fantastic buy.
