What's great about it: It works
What's not so great: Complete and utter lack of value for your money
A generic USB cable should be a couple bucks, not $15. While one expects mark-ups for overhead, this is insulting. Folks, it costs the manufacturer about a quarter or less to crank these things out. Do yourself a favor and spend (shipped) 1/3 of this for a better quality product from a reputable online retailer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's not so great: nothing
I use this cable as a replacement cable for my Kindle and it works great.
