What's not so great: Frother does not work and may indeed have a serious design flaw.
Purchased this coffee maker because of the frothing component. However, the original product would not do any frothing as claimed. Product appear poorly designed. Replacement sent quickly from Mr. Coffee had the same problem and would not froth. Dial on the left side of the machine when turned to "Steam" produced no steam in both models. Both models were returned, and this comsumer was most unimpressed with Mr. Coffee's version of a combination expresso maker. Best Buy refunded my purchase and this consumer was most impressed with Best Buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: convenient and affordable
What's not so great: no timer on coffee machine
It is nice to be able to choose coffee or cappuchino and I don't have to leave the comfort of home to do so. The only thing missing is a timer for the coffee. It is not big and bulky and doesn't take up a lot of space on the counter neither. Would highly recommend this product to anyone.
I would recommend this to a friend!
