What's great about it: Feel, Color and quality of pics!
What's not so great: nothing

What's great about it: Lots of large camera features in a compact body
I'm a previous digital and film 35mm Nikon and Canon user. Actually the last just sold was a Canon Rebel 10.1MP with a 200-400mm zoom extra with 2X multiplier (800mm capability). The wife got tied of trying to take grandchildren and nature shots with the large lens we used and prefers a compact camera with good telephoto built in. This one is now are only camera for all occassions. The Nikon provides great picture quality, lots of digital features, and large telephoto zoom for this size camera, all built in. We will more likely carry it around when traveling compared to the prior equipment.

What's great about it: color
What's not so great: action shots blurry
Upgraded and wanted a camera for night time football games and action. The action photos are not good , but the still pics are awesome. Better megapixels than I had so I was really impressed. The zoom is great too, but sometimes I zoom in too much and the pic is not clear , it is blurry at times. So I can't get closeup perfect. Most digital cameras they don't have the view finder and that is something u need at times especially when the sun is shining and u can't see the picture u want to take. This viewfinder is very important to me. Still working out kinks as I keep playing with it. Overall I luv the camera and the color RED is so me!

Don't hesitate to get this camera. I moved down from a D90 to this because I just didn't have the time to devote to my D90. With this camera, I get the best of both worlds. Couldn't be happier

What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: no flaws
I love this camera. I also the Nikon D5100 but I rarely use it anymore after getting this. The zoom is amazing. 22m wide to 810. The wide angle really makes a difference over my old one with 28m. Pictures come out great, focus is fast. Even at 36x shots are clear. Easy Panoramic is my favorite feature. It will in 180 or 360 degrees. Get the red it is much nicer looking than the black. LCD is best I have seen for a point and shoot.
I would recommend this to a friend!
