What's great about it: Makes soda buying economical.
What's not so great: Not to crazy about the cola flavors. Coke drinkers may disagree.
Good purchase, children and grandchildren use it daily. We have had many liters used and the carbonation bottle hasn't been replaced yet, so it is economical. Being a Pepsi drinker, I am not crazy about the cola flavors, my guess is Coke drinkers will probably like them. Washable bottles and carbonation bottle exchange cuts down on waste and trash disposal. Great buy.

What's great about it: It always makes soda available. No need to go to market.
What's not so great: The Carbonator that makes the soda gets used up

What's great about it: Use it with other concentrates eg. Kook aid, crystal delight
Great value for the price. If trying to count calories, you can make your own 0 calories carbonated drink using supermarket available products like kool aid, great value, mio or crystal delight concentrates

Found out I'm Type II diabetic, so had to cut soda (a staple) out of my diet. Since I find Diet drink disgusting in taste, and full of aspertame, I needed an alternative.
Found that the syrups use much less sugar than the equivalent 20 oz soda in many of the selections (My favorites are Orange Soda and Root Beer so far). So, just chill two bottles, carbonate, and add syrup.

What's great about it: Not filling the landfill with bottles and I can use real fruit like lemons and limes for the flavor
What's not so great: Nothing
There is no downside. We don't take plastic to the landfill every week we don't carry cases of seltzer home from the store and what we drink tastes better. We didn't buy it to try to replicate coke or pepsi which it is OK at doing, We drink flavored seltzer and it does that far better and cheaper than the store. We did we wait so long???

What's great about it: Easy to make soda
What's not so great: Some of the flavors
I was a big soda drinker and trying to lose weight at the same time. I eat well and workout a lot but could not get passed the soda fix. This made it harder to shed pounds. Since I have started drinking the soda stream I have started to lose weight faster. There is only 35 calories per serving.
There are some nasty flavors though. Stay away from the orange, mountain dew and diet flavors. My fav's are cherry cola, cola, root beer, grape and cream soda.

This is a neat product for a day or two. Then it just sits there taking up space.

Second soda stream I've owned, other one was left with old roommates so bought this model, greatly upgraded mechanism for adding carbonation. Great value opposed to buying traditional soda, highly recommended!

What's not so great: The taste is NOTHING like major soda companies!
I was very dissapointed in the taste of this product! This was nothing close to major soda brands, but more like off brand cheap soda. I was very excited to try this product, yet was so disappointed in the taste that I had to return it. I would not recommend this product.

I would recommend this product for families. My son's didn't think they would use it much and they use it every day. We all have our favorite flavors so I have had to buy more bottles, so everyone has their own!! I love the lemon essence for the sparkling water!!!

Bought the soda stream because I drink a lot of flavored water. It's been great and easy. Some of the other flavors are good, the cola was good and root beer. Didn't care for he diet dr Pete. But you get a sample pack with purchase good way to sample flavors. For me it was a good buy
