What's great about it: portable and easy to use
What's not so great: had to buy the micro sd card separately
I recently used the scanner for the first time to scan old family pictures and family receipes. It worked great. Since I scanned both color and black n white photos that feature worked for clear copies. It was very easy to use and if the picture didn't lay flat enough to scan easily I just put it inside a laminate sleeve and scanned without a problem. Make sure to have extra batteries. Transferring the pictures just using the micro card in the adapter (bought separately) was simple.

What's great about it: size,ease of use, clairty of scans
What's not so great: nothing
I bought this scanner to copy Old recipies from my mom. I love to cook and this lets me continue 100 year old dishes. The scanner worked great out of the box and there is no reason to install and download their software. It works great in the Dr"s office to get new recipies, articles and ideas, so you don"t have to steal the book. Love it, recomend it.....
