Excellent Product When it Works - Warranty Needed

What's great about it: Great device for viewing PS3 games in normal and 3D mode
What's not so great: Fails to work and goes to black screen and will not reboot
Bought at Christmas 2011 for use with PS3. It shows a wonderful picture. We have taken it back two times to the local Best Buy due to product failure and they exchanged it without hassle after examining it. After the last exchange we purchased the "black tie warranty" thru Best Buy because we were concerned about a third failure (and I almost never purchase extended warranties). A great device but I would not purchase without adding an extended warranty. We bought it originally on sale for $299.00. The extended Best Buy in store warranty that was purhased after the second failure cost about $35. I considered the warranty a bargain (and a must have) after our experience to date.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: 240 hz looks amazing wirh Blu Ray dvds and the simul-view feature for racing and sports makes playing even better
What's not so great: screen size could be a lil bigger
Excellent buy and worth every penny. The quality of the picture for blu ray DVDs is great and the 3D lets me taking gaming to the next level. 240hz looks ridiculous in a good way. Glad I bought it.

What's great about it: Games are incredible on it
What's not so great: Glasses HURT wish screen were larger
Great for the price, games awesome, movies are not as good unless they are animated or shot in 3d as the others are upconverted from 2d. Would have paid more for a 32 inch with an extra set of glasses, but still is an incredible deal considering the cost. The glasses become uncomfortable quickly. Compatible glasses are available from Sony and others, but only PS3 glasses will operate in the Simulview mode.

What's great about it: 2 player dual view, 1080P, Sound quality
What's not so great: Glare can get annoying
I have taken advantage of this display for my ps3 and tons of blueray movies that have recently came out with 3d vision. I just love the fact that it is the perfect size for someone like me who is a college student, with not a whole lot of room to start off with, and I am able to use it as both my computer screen and ps3 screen via HDMI. Being able to play simultaneously with a 2nd player without the split screen is one of the other top reasons why I chose to try out this display. It works amazingly well for Sonys first attempt and being a fullscreen dual view. Being also 1080p helps with blueray movies and surfing videos on youtube at 1080p :)

What's great about it: Great stereo-3D for a good price
What's not so great: Product quality--mine had early stages of "Black Screen of Death"
This seemed like a good monitor, with really nice stereo-3D visual quality. However, the one I got had intermittent periods of going black/blank for about 2 seconds. Research told me that this was the early signs of the "Black Screen of Death" issue that others have reported. Therefore, I took it back.
Pros: Clarity; nice stereo-3D images; good price for a stereo-3D monitor.
Cons: Product quality; like looking into a mirror when it's off/black; whenever the screen-saver kicks in, the monitor shuts itself off (doesn't have a power-saving mode).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's not so great: The glossy screen does give some reflections and the reports of problems with the display
While I can say there have been post about problems with thsi display I picked it up while on sale for 299 wit a extra pair of glasses and a extra game.
I use this as a computer display and it is great . Nice and crisp and the 3d game play and movies it out of this world.
Well worth the price. I hope I got a good one and have no problems with it , but picked up the 2 year plan on this just in case.

What's great about it: Great 3D quality in a small bundle.
What's not so great: Many complain about the glare but I found no problem with it.
I purchase the PS3 3D Display bundle when I saw the price dropped to $299 and became curious about 3D with my PS3. This seems like a good deal because with the 3D/1080p/240hz monitor, 1 pair of 3D glasses, MotorStorm: Apocalypse. The display is beautiful, the colors are amazing and the picture is amazing, the 3d is awesome. I played a few of the 3d games and it made the experience a lot better. 3d movies look pretty awesome too. The simul-view is a great idea but more games need to support this feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great gaming accessory with cutting edge technology.Great 3D display, Simulview technolgy, and sleek design. The only problem is the screen is WAY too small to be used in large living room areas. Im sure it would be fine if I still lived in a bedroom at my parents house or in a dorm, but that is about it, so I took mine back. If they ever release a 42" or above version I will definitely buy one again. Until then...

great entry level 3d tv

What's great about it: Great picture,great price with the bundle,great size for a small room
What's not so great: Didn't come with a remote
I have been considering this TV since it came out but the price held me back till now. I was able to get it in a bundle package at best buy for 229 off with two 3d games ,two pair of glasses and the hdmi cord. I gave it four stars because it does not come with a remote . You have to buy the new ps3 blue-ray remote ,the old Bluetooth remote wont work. The picture is great in a dim lit room but it does glare in a bright room. The setup was very easy and the ps3 and TV recognized each other without a problem. The glasses charged up fully in about a half hour and are not as uncomfortable as some have rated but I wear safety glasses at work for ten hours a day so it was not a problem for me. I have several games with 3d and was blown away at how well they looked on this TV..I will have replay all of them now.This TV works well in a small room due to its size and is not recommended for your living room. We also purchased The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3d and it was wonderful on this TV.

What's great about it: bright 2D picture
What's not so great: no real 3D PC support unless it`s native 3D for what your trying to run.
Great clear monitor just one drawback. I got a geforce GTX 460 and I can`t get nvidia vision to work on this monitor. I got some pc games to work in 3D without any problem at all like Sonic Generations,Crysis 2....but they are native 3D games meaning it`s built right in the game. But I have a ton of PC games I like to see in 3d and Nvidia supports alot of Pc games...but I cant get it to work. Also it`s not a real 240 MHZ monitor. Sony are just adding numbers up 4 eyeball * 60 = 240mhz.......that`s a no no in my book. But if they get the proper support for nvidia then I`ll eat every word i wrote...but until then I`ll give another week and return this and buy a real 3d monitor with all the latest tech.

Bought for the 3d gaming expierence, but after 15 min of game play youll get a headach. 3d movies-great picture. Now using as monitor for my laptop, works perfect and very clear.

I would have given it 5 stars but it is a little to small. Definately a great 3D gaming monitor. Games are perfect and impressive in 3D. Also 3D movies jump out at you. I can't wait for computers to be more 3D versital. Thanks again Sony for pushing into the future of electronics.

What's not so great: sony, repairs
This product has caused me nothing but grief. I didn't use it that often and so it didn't have too many hours on it when it got the black screen of death. However, I was outside of the return policy for Best Buy so I sent it into sony and after calling numerous numbers and being sent all over the world via telephone I finally got them to send me a return box for repair. A month has passed and I have not heard anything from them so I called and apparently they can't find the receipt so it has just been sitting in their warehouse and after hours of being transferred around I was finally connected with someone who said "well if you can't get us the receipt today it will be shipped back to you (broken) because today is the last day." Lucky I guess I called today...
When it works the picture is great...when it breaks outside of a return window you might as well use it for kindling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A Great TV with all the bells and whistles

What's great about it: Amazing Picture
What's not so great: Screen Size
This is a great tv with top of the line specs. LED, 1080P, 3D, 240hz. It is great for gaming, tailgating or anything as long as you are close to the screen. The only negative things about it is that it is only 24inches and the speakers are not that great. I would love this tv in a larger version. And as far as the speakers, it is not a huge deal specially if you plan on connecting it through your stereo system or some sort of amplifier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Returned twice, kept dying... wish it would work

What's great about it: Most beautiful display when it works.
What's not so great: Stops working after 20-30 hours of use and never works again.
Let me start off by stating that this is the best display I have used. I used it for my PS3, 360 & PC. The issue I had was I went through 2 of these displays and both stopped working after about 20-40 hours of use (2 weeks) on two seperate monitors. I called Sony support and they told me to just return it where i purchased the item. It seems that Sony doesn't recognize this display as an actual product of Sony.
I really, really wish this display worked! I miss it. It just doesn't work and breaks. Online there is complaint after complaint of the display breaking. If Sony would recognize that this monitor has issues and fixed it, I would repurchase in a heartbeat!
Summary of breaking:
The monitor after about 20-30 hours of use it will just go black. Then a red led light in front of the monitor will blink twice and repeat blinking as long as the monitor is powered. Trying to unplug from outlet and resetting power does nothing. You can't even pull up the menu, the display literally stops working. When you do power it off and back on, the front power light glows blue (which indicates successful power), then the led lights up green (which indicates connectivity to input source), then after about 3 seconds the led light will blink red twice repeatedly.

What's great about it: 3D images, Playstation feel to the tv
What's not so great: Glare on screen, tv size, and auto shut off feature.
The TV works great for 3D gaming and simul-view technology where two people get there own screen just by using the 3D glasses. The glare is a problem if you want to put the shades up in your room because the glare does distract in between games. The screen is a little too small I would have paid an extra one hundred dollars for a 32 inch screen. The auto shutoff feature for the screen when you turn off your PlayStation is kinda annoying. I would have given it five stars if not for the glare and size, hopefully they will make a bigger model next year. Besides that the 3D gaming is awesome!

This is an excellent monitor, which is not only great for 3D Gaming, but can also be used with satelite or cable box. The picture is crystal clear. I chose this over a 3D tv, as the size is perfect for its function.
