What's great about it: Sound, wires
What's not so great: Price
The price for the Miles Davis headphones shocked me, but the sound quality is amazing. A Best Buy employee recommended them to me (what a NICE guy!) and I use them everyday. The headphones come in a very cute box with 2 cases for the headphones, a jazz album, and more then 15 earbud pairs so you can find the one you need. There is a lifetime warranty on the headphones and the wires are very protected. I am happy with my purchase.

What's not so great: everything, from poor sound quality to non-noise cancelling
I recently bought these headphones after experiencing beats studios and beats detox, and these are good headphones, don't get me wrong, but not worth the $300. I bought them as I was looking for a pair of in ears. I found these to have no bass, and I didn't like them that much, even while listening to jazz. I also listened to other artists like Ellie Golding, who sounded ok, too. These were not a good buy and i definitely prefer studios over them, and detox as well. They are comfortable to some extent, but not the best. There is a large range of ear pieces including with them for maximum ear comfort, although this was not the case and they kept falling out of my ears and getting caught on random objects like my backpack. They are really not ideal for any conditions, whether performing, or in a studio. Also, these are not noise cancelling, as i could hear everything around me, aside from when I was playing music pretty loudly.

I have the Beats Tours. They sound great. These sound twice as good. At first I was hesitant to keep them. At $300, it's hard to justify the price tag. But they actually are worth it. They sound so clear. The cable could be longer and sturdier. But the warranty at Best Buy covers everything. I had the Pro's. They were awesome, but heavy and bulky. These are perfect for my train rides. No sound leakage and I can't hear outside noise. They are pricey, but I returned my Pro's and did not feel it in the pocket. If you want quality sound, then get these. I'm not rich by no means, but I can't bear to use the Apple ear buds

What's great about it: Soundstage and detail
What's not so great: Microphonics
Truly remarkable headphones. The design of where the drivers are located makes a huge difference in soundstage and detail. With proper fit (which should be easy with the number of supertips you get), these are excellent sounding and surprisingly comfortable. Definitely recommended.

$300 dollars + best buy saleperson saying it has a 5 out 5 review rating. Did not know at the time that it was based on just one review.
best buy salesperson also kept saying the sound was linear, that all the sounds came out.
ha!!!!! all sounds came out tinny. really horrible, over trebled play. even sound adjudtment couldn't help. try it at store before you buy
My overall comment - YUCK!

What's great about it: Fantastic Sound Profile, Remarkable Clarity, Flat Cable, Unique IEM design, Best Sound Isolation with SuperTips
What's not so great: Cable not quite long enough for me
I picked these up after doing as much research as I could, and finding almost no reviews on the Trumpet's yet. After taking the gamble, I'll say I feel like I hit the jackpot. I've never had the privelage of hearing sound from a pair of IEM's that even come's close to this. It absolutely blows the competition out of the water.
I'm a baritone saxaphone musician, a former House DJ from New York, and a very eclectic music enthusiast. This pair of IEM's makes every thing I have sound better. I will never travel again without them.
Comparisons: Not as boomy in the bass as the Monster Turbine Pro GOLD, but a very balanced and articulate profile, I can honestly say that its clarity makes the listening of heavier bass lines much better (from Charles Mingus to the Black Eyed Peas).
I don't have a pair of the Miles Davis Tribute's to compare it to, but at the price and with the iPhone/iPod control and with the superior flat cable and unique design, I think that Monster managed to incorporate all of the pro's and none of the con's I saw in the Tributes. Plus, at the lower price tag, you just can't go wrong.
I won't even bother comparing this to the "Beats" line, there is no comparison, this is hands down better.
Bass - Beautifully well rounded and profoundly deep sound
Mids - Excellent body without excessive or overbearing pressure
Highs - Crystal Articulation without being to sharp or grating
I did a 10 hour burn in, and the sound balanced out beautifully, I garantee you will not be disappointed if you make this purchase. Plus, with the new SuperTips fitting, you can't get a better IEM experience (excellent sound isolation).
My only complaint is that the cable is not quite long enough for me. But it does easily reach from my waist to my ears (and I'm 6'2"). Nice carrying case included (I think it's the same one as that came with the Tribute's).
These are the ultimate musicians IEM's, accept nothing less than the best.
