What's great about it: auto shutoff, custimizing capabilites
What's not so great: lack of storage
This product is pleasant to look at but it doesn't hold a lot of photos. The options to customize was nice and I appreciated the auto shut off to conserve energy. Would I buy again? No, I would look for one that held more data.

What's great about it: bright and vivid colors
What's not so great: timer doesn't work properly
I purchased this to sit on my living room table and it's ok for the price. The picture is bright and vivid, however, the timer option does not work properly because even though I have it scheduled to turn on at 2:30p and turn off at 8p it will turn on out of the blue and won't turn off. Also, I had to reset it by unplugging it and plugging it in again just for it to accept the changes that I made to the timer and the background.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My wife loves the fact that she can instantly see her pics on display, rather than the old" wait to develop" way! Once I transfer the pics to the memory card, she's ready to go!

What's great about it: price, image quality, overall looks and function, remote
What's not so great: Not really a hit, but when pic is different orientation from frame it appears smaller.
Got the Insignia 7" digital frame as a Christmas gift for my wife. I liked that it came with a remote control and had an SD card slot. I pre-loaded some photo's of our daughter and doggies onto an SD card and put it in the frame before I wrapped it. When she opened it and saw he pics playing she was very happy. It was very easy to set up - has a short micro usb cable you can connect to your computer and load images directly or do as I did and put them on an SD card. The frame even has a convenient storage spot for the remote control. images are sharp and you can adjust the rate of display. she has it sitting proudly on her desk.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Copy pictures to a card and insert; done. Remote works well too
We gave this as a gift. We pre-loaded it with family pictures. Everything worked. I didn't even open the instructions.

What's great about it: the crisp color in the pictures and the price!
What's not so great: nothing... all good....
I bought it for Christmas for a friend. He previously had a larger digital pic frame a few years ago that stopped working. He said this one is much better! The pictures were very clear and the color crisp. I am very happy with the purchase and at the holidays it was on sale! win/win !

Works just fine, picture quality is pretty good. Purchased a cheep 8GB USB stick to put images on and it works perfectly.

What's great about it: Stores photos, Great Value, SD Card-compatible
This is a great quality, easy to use digital photo frame. Bought it for my grandparents for Christmas. I love the fact that you don't have to have an SD card in it for it to show pictures, since it stores up to a certain amount (I think it said 250 but I'm not exactly sure). It's also nice how easy it is to save a picture to the frame. Just get the picture you want to save up on the screen and press the "copy" button on the remote and it's done. Sooooo much easier than having to hook it up to a computer or something to get pictures onto it. It would be nice if you could delete pictures from your memory card while it is in the frame but that's the only thing that I can think of that was even slightly bad with this product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: Does not appear to allow multiple folders and is 3.5" x 6"
I've had this frame for about three hours and find it easy to set up and the picture quality is just fine. It also automatically reorients the photo, which is a plus. BUT...the actual size of the screen is only 3.5" x 6". That is a disappointment. I thought a 7" screen would be 7" wide and 5" high. WRONG!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great 800 x 480 Resolution for the price, NICE!
What's not so great: 6 month Warranty; wish it had a year or 2 years like my Insignia TV
1st off I like the “good stuff’ when it comes to photo equipment I own all pro expensive camera gear so I am hard to please. Needed a photo frame for moms Christmas gift and had a small budget and after searching all over the net this product fit the bill. After much research it looked like this frame gave me better resolution than most in this price range and IMO I would need to double my money to get any better. When I loaded it up with pics I was blown away with the look of the frame and the look of my pictures for the price. I think it is the best value of any Christmas gift I have purchased this year. I hope it last as the price was such a good deal? I did decide to turn it in the portrait direction. To avoid any cropped images I just loaded my SDHC card with all pictures I shot it portrait mode and the frame is filled and looks sharp and brighter than all I have seen at this price point. Easy to operate so I am sure mom can handle it!
Excited about my purchase and I am sure mom will love the pics of the grandkids. GREAT GIFT!

What's great about it: Portrait and Landscape kickstand. At $30 this was a steal considering the features it offers.
What's not so great: The kickstand was difficult to extend - consequently potential durability issues. No battery - plug 'n play only.
Bought this for my girlfriend as a holiday gift. I decided I would configure the device before she opened it so that when she turned it on, she would get meaningful photos instead of the goofy demo ones.
Extremely easy to set up. I plugged it into my laptop and the directory I needed to access to add my own photos opened right up. Was a simple copy and paste project from there.
Navigating the device is fairly simple with easy to navigate drop down menus to change photo interval rates, transition types, photo layouts, etc.
Bottom line, this device has plenty of features for the photo enthusiast looking to set up a display. I especially like the swiveling kickstand for easy portrait to landscape transitioning. People might complain about the size of the screen if they are looking for something larger, but the picture quality is really good nonetheless (especially for this cost!).
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: The frame around the screen is rather big, but that's really no big deal ;)
For the price of 40 dollars (on sale) I am pleased with this frame. The set up took only 5 minutes (if that!) and it is very simple to use. The picture quality is great (so long as the image is the right size) and all the options you have are brilliant! You can choose the type of transition, how much time each picture is displayed for, the frame can stand either landscape or portrait, and even adjust the brightness, color, and contrast.
I would recommend this to a friend!
