What's great about it: ultra clear picture
What's not so great: slow internet
sony got the size right 65'' is perfect, the sound is great, you will not need a extra sound bar.The 3D is wonderfull,it takes about 5min to get used to the glasses,then you just sit back and enjoy.This TV is on the high end,but my last XBR lasted 17yrs and the picture was great until it,s last day.i hope that i get the same wonderfull picture from this model...time will tell If your thinking the price is to high just remember you paid 25grand + for that car of yours that fell apart in 5yrs. This is home theater at its finest!!!

When it comes to TV's I'm a bit of a fanatic. Every year I demo about 3 top of the lines TV. This year I demo'd the flagship Panasonic, flagship Samsung, and of course this XBR HX929. They where all 65'. The plasma I liked but didn't do very good in my living room because I have a lot of lighting. The Samsung was the worse, I hated it. Every Samsung i ever demo'd sucked, they bloom, their colors are way off, they just dont work for me. I give up on that brand.. This Sony was the best TV hand's down. The colors where great, extremely insane, great light&black levels, really unmatched. there's no motion blur what so ever, no blooming at all. I game a lot. I have all 3 consoles, this TV takes gaming to a whole new level. The Only negative is it doesn't come with any 3D glasses. I strongly recommend this TV to anyone that has tried everything and just doesn't know if there is one TV that can meet their expectations. Look no further this is it..

What's great about it: picture quality
Picture quality can not be matched by any TV out there. I have a 46 sony bravia and it doesnt even compare to the quality of picture the 65" has. 3D is crystal clear also. Wall hanging it took 3 people to lift and hang it safely, but can be done with 2. Sound quality is pretty good but mine is hooked up to a 7.1 surround now and have no problems. Def worth the money I spent on it and have no regrets for it

Best picture in the Game. Nothing Rivals this TV. I have had plasma and LCD and this is by far the best tv Ever. Room light is not a factor, this tv performs good in any light. Built in Wireless N is great, makes streaming video very easy. Slim design makes this tv large, but light. Speakers on the back of the flat panel are just that, speakers on the back. Get a premium sound system to go with the brillant picture that this tv displays. I have 5.1 channel surrond sound and I am thinking about upgrading to 7.2 surround. I cannot takeoff for lack of sound because all flat panel TV's have sound issues. The speakers are adequate. This tv is 3D capable, but I am not a fan of 3D, never have and never will be. I bought this tv for the HD picture quality and the superior 960 motion flow. I have not been disappointed. I have a Sony XBR 52 inch and I did not think that they could make a better TV, but Sony proved me wrong again. They are pretty good sets that cost less, but none will match the picture of this set. If you can afford this set, I recommend that you buy it. You will not regret your purchase.

What's not so great: SPEAKERS OUT THE REAR
THIS IS MY SECOND 65 INCH SONY. THIS ONE REPLACED A 11 YEAR OLD REAR PROJECTION TYPE. THE PICTURE ON THIS SET IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE PROJECTION TV.
