What's great about it: Perfect sound balance, Better than beats, Don't lose Music with lost Battery
What's not so great: Worse sound quality when you run out of battery (at least you can still listen though...)
When I first heard Luda was coming out with Headphones, I was a little scared. Because I havent been too happy with beats and thought these would be the same. But Im telling you, If you have the money, This is the way to go. I listen to music literally all day. These dont hurt at ALL. After i while i almost forget they are there (Minus the fact that everything sounds different outside) But beats studios also dont hurt after a couple hours so its at par there. And both compete with the Bose qc15 on comfort. Alright now, Style wise, These are some of the best looking headphones out there. They arent as popular as beats so ppl wont recognize them as much but so so far the are about the same as beats. Now We get to durability.. My beats studio headband broke. My friend had them and they dropped them. Which is why i got these. I bent the headband on this so the band was a complete 180 degrees. The headband was completely flat! I dont want to really hurt them but thats pretty crazy. Now onto noise cancelling. Thats pretty straighforward. You cant hear anything outside of the headphone. When you turn it off, You can still listen to your music. (with a little worse quality though, sadly) But with beats or bose, your done with your music if you forget batteries or don't have any. Bad things though is the sound leakage... Its fine when noise cancelling is off but once you turn it on, Just about EVERYBODY can hear what you are listening to. That's the same with beats. The bose are definitely wayyy more advanced in keeping your music to yourself. Alright now onto sound quality. The balance is amazing. The only complaint is the mids sound a little strange. I don't know what it is but they are a little strange. People say, Gets beats for bass, get souls for overall sound... I disagree totally. The souls have way more pounding bass then the beats. The beats have rumbling bass. It isn't precise. Its like hitting a suspended cymbal with the beats. it goes for a while. The souls are like hitting a snare drum. You hear everytime the bass note hits. The bass is not overpowering but still has more. The bose have better sound though, I must say. There isn't nearly as much bass but altogether, the bose have better sound. But i prefer these over the bose because i still want bass even though it isn't the most important thing in the world. Overall I would pick the souls over the competition. I would be a little embarrassed to wear the bose around my neck. They have no style. Maybe better sound though. so if style is nothing to you at all, go with the bose. Sound is the most important thing to me by far. but i still want a little style with it. And if you take the Cord of the bose it takes like the whole side of the headphone out. If you rip a cord for the bose, you need to call to order a new one. With the soul or beats, you can just get a normal auxiliary cable. But personally I don't think the beats compete to either so i would only recommend beats if you wanna go with mainstream stuff. If you want good sound quality and looks god with Soul. If you just want good sound quality, go with bose. But I recommend trying on all three to see which one YOU like better. Personally I think the competition is between souls and bose. Thanks for taking the time to read my review I hope it helped =)

The quality and workmanship that goes into these headphones is apparent from holding them. My only complaint was that at the beginning I got a very annoying reverberation whenever the noise cancellation was activated. This was not addressed in the manual, but through a few days of trial and error I figured out that reverberation could be avoided by adjusting the fit. Now that I have figured this out, the sound quality is awesome. I believe these are a better value than many of the other high end headphones on the market.

These headphones sounded awesome right out of the box and after letting them break in they sound even better, nice and warm sound to the headphones not harsh at all, and just the right amount of bass that doesn't drown out the rest of the music, these speakers are also very articulate, you definitely hear all of the music, you will hear a lot of subtle nuances in the music that you didn't notice before. I woud strongly recommend the Souls to anyone looking for a really nice sounding headphone! Also the noise canceling works great!

What's great about it: Sound and Noise cancelling
To be honest this was the first time I used a headset like this and I was more than happy with my purchase. I have recently started to travel more for work and love to listen to music while traveling on the plane and in my hotel room.
The Soul SL300 work great for me. I like the fact that they come in a great carrying case which I can attach to a bag or briefcase so they don't take up any extra room when I travel. I recently used them a few times while traveling on flights and the performance was great. The music sounded amazing and the noice cancelling option worked perfectly.
I have a long vacation coming up and happy that I purchased these for my long travels and will be taking them with me as I travel. I was discussing the headphones at work with a co-worker who has another brand and he mentioned that his pair has a rechargeable battery which is not great for travel and mentioned that a couple times his headphones have died midflight and had no way of recharging them. I packa couple extra sets of AAA batterieus with me and I am all set.
I was also surprised at how well the headphones feel while wearing them. To be honest I am not a big fan of having things on my head but these were extremley comfortable and I found myself wearing them the majority of my flights.
I would recommend these to any music lover who wants a clear perfect sound. The accesories are good as well as I have a couple different mp3 players and an i-phone and it is great to know I can use these with any device I take with me.
Overall a great purchase that I am extremely satisfied with!
Go Soul!
