I purchased the Beats Solo HD's for myself first. They were returned 2 days later. The sound quality was HORRIBLE. Sad considering 1) I love Dr Dre & almost all music he has and produced, 2) I LOVE bass, and 3) I am a 17yr Auto Sound & Security retailer/installer. There was so much bass it made you mad. If you like any other music other than rap/hip-hop/R&B then the SL100's are for you. I like my Metallica while on a treadmill in the gym but I couldn't hear voice and gutair's with the Beats. With the SL100's I can. Now these were $50 less which was a big plus but will they make me 100% happy? I will find out in a week. But right off the bat I am 1000% happier with this purchase. If they don't cut it then the SL150's will be the next move.

What's great about it: Great base and clarity.
What's not so great: Would not recommend for treadmill users.
I purchased these headphones for my son after comparing them to Monster Beats Solo & Bose OE2 audio. My son was not disappointed. Great base and clarity of your music. Your ears won't be disapointed. Enjoy

What's great about it: Sound, mic, volume button
My daughter wanted the Dre beats, but the salesman told me to listen to these headphones by Ludacris and I could'nt tell the difference they sounded just like the dre beats so i bought these for 99.00 bucks in the store! Hundred dollars cheaper than the dre beats. My teen daughter love em' now I want a pair!
