What's great about it: good workmanship
What's not so great: compatibility with covers and screen protectors
If you use an otterbox, gumdrop or other protective cover that's not easily removable, I wouldn't recommend this product. Even the thinnest cover or screen protector will keep it from fitting. The four corners fit very tightly and will peel back any stick-on screen protectors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cheaply made, bulky and not easy to insert iPad

I bought this to use for my toddle to watch on road trips. The first problem is that the m out is too bulky and is not flush enough so I have to move sit so that my child can not reach with his feet.. 2nd issue, it is hard to insert iPad in holder especially if you have a protectant film. The corners actually lift ip my cover on all 4 corners.. 3rd issue it has already broken bc trying to attach the iPad holders to the main mount and it just broke off. Not Happy! Of course is has been 34 days so I cannot return to BestBuy which that policy makes me happy too!lol my advice to u is do not buy

What's great about it: It holds the ipad in place
What's not so great: design, quality, price
I bought this because it could accomodate both the ipad 1 and ipad 2 (we have one of each) and that turned out to be its only redeeming quality. The design is adequate in that it performs its basic function but it is clunky, bad quality, and very difficult to get the ipad in and out of.
It is just a very unsophisticated product compared to other options (i.e. Rocketfish, Coulvue...) which makes it's price all that more shocking.
This product would only make sense if it was priced around $24.99 and positioned as a cheap alternative to the other superior products...
