What's great about it: Amazing sound quality!
What's not so great: Distance- doesn't go through more than 5 walls but does it really need to?
This is a great headset even though it is extremely pricey. I love them and have had them a little over a month. They are completely wireless!!! They can also be used for listen to ipod music or any blue-tooth device!!! I would definitely recommend them.

At first I hated the fact that I spent $190 on these things bc it didn't make a difference in MW3 for me. Then after getting used to them, I started to notice how great they are. I can be inside on the second floor of a building and hear people running on the outside easily. Explosions and gun fire + surround sounds makes it feel like youre really in the fight. My kd has gone from 1.95 to 2.06 using these for the last 3 weeks. Definitely a must for a serious gamer. These cost $300 anywhere else online, including ebay. Don't waste $300+ on a wireless surround sound head phone that does the same thing as this for $$$ less. Best $190 spent. Also, NO EAR SWEAT WHATSOEVER. Do run a little big. I have a small head, 7 1/8, and I have them as small as they can go.

What's great about it: SOUND QUALITY
What's not so great: Hard to Use, LIVE Chat
I am a HUGE Turtle Beach Fan! This is why I am so disappointed to give this review but it made me so frustrated. I have been using my x31 for 4+ years now and was ready to move up so I decided on the COD MF3 Delta Edition. The gaming sound is AMAZING! I would keep it if there was no need for me to use the chat functions!
The problem lies within the chat functions! For whatever reason with both the Bluetooth and the WIRED chatting has static at various times- the unit inter fears with my wireless Xbox connection. At various times I lose the connection with my "Friends" and this is a common occurring problem which NEVER happened with my old skool x31 Turtle Beach-!
Regardless I will commend the fact that when listening to the game you get a WHOLE NEW experience and it sounds AMAZING!!!!!!

First, I have to say that these are the xp500 in disguise. The look, the sound, the technology, it is the same as the xp500. They just have a new skin, a few different equalizers, and a fancy case. The did launch at $300, but are now $190. Getting the xp500 at questionable only cause of the price, but with the EFD CoD edition, at this price it should be a no brainer. You are getting the best that turtle beach has to offer at a great price.

What's great about it: Completely wireless, Excellent sound quality, Customize your own sound fields, Upload different voice prompts
What's not so great: Short battery life, Chat mic pickup is a little weak
Don't let the price scare you away. It's well worth it. I was a little hesitant at first, but after I brought these home, I was blown away. They come with presets for campaign and multiplayer modes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. You can also download the sound manager from Turtle Beach and create your own presets for this pair of headphones. You can also upload custom voice prompts from the game. As in, you can have "Soap" or "Price" telling you that the Bluetooth is on or the battery is low.
This is the first pair of headphones I've found that have excellent sound quality and are complete wireless from the PS3. This is possible by combining Bluetooth and RF technology. The RF is for the game sound and the Bluetooth is for the chat. While the Bluetooth is on and paired with your PS3, you can also have it paired with your cell phone. When you're in the game and get a phone call, just answer and talk through your headphones.
The only bad thing I will say is that these things drain batteries like crazy. So, make sure you use rechargable batteries.
These are basically the same thing as the Turtle Beach PX5's, only specially branded for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

What's great about it: Sound, Comfort, Completely Wireless
What's not so great: Complex Software, 2.4 GHz signal, Best Buy post purchase protection plan
Pros:
+ Completely wireless setup with included XBA puck for 360
+ 5.1/7.1 Surround Sound
+ Slick Look
+ Amazingly Comfortable
+ Completely customizable sound presets
+ Great price
Cons:
- Rechargable battery coming in next generation headsets
- 2.4 GHz signal
- Nothing against the headset, but Best Buy customer service can't get their stuff together for the protection plan.
Don't let the $189.99 price tag scare you off, this headset is available now for an amazing price. To compare, the XP500, which these are reskinned with MW3 graphics, go for $270 so you are looking at an $80 discount on those and a $110 discount on the original price of these.
The sound coming from these cans is, in a word, amazing. The first time I turned on my Xbox and reached up to turn my TV down because I heard the sound coming from in front of me, I knew that this was the real deal. I did have the Tritton AX Pros, which I gave to a friend, and figured these might be a downgrade in sound coming from 4 speakers per earcup to only one, but quite honestly, minus the insane bass boost that the AX Pros give, the sound on these is far better.
My game is MW3. I play it for hours at a time when I do get to play and I always wear a headset for better sound and to keep everyone around me from having to listen to my game. Even after hours of playing, this headset is quite comfortable. I have never had an earache or headache at any time using these, which I always had a problem with with the AX Pros. Now, I do have quite a large head to put that into context, but the look and feel of this headset puts everything else I have had to shame.
A great plus for me is the XBA adaptor that lets you go completely wireless with Xbox 360. This is a HUGE bonus for me because I have a 14 month old who loves to yank on the cable going from the headset to the controller. Now all I have to worry about is her reaching up and pressing my home button instead of ripping my headset off my ears.
When setting this up, make sure that you don't put it too close to your Xbox (especially using a wireless controller). If you do, it will make voice communication impossible. I put the wireless base on another shelf away from the Xbox and the voice communication worked great.
I haven't had to change batteries in the headset yet, though it should be coming soon. This is after 10+ hours of play with the bluetooth turned on to speak wirelessly over Xbox live. I did buy a couple sets of rechargable batteries, but personal preference.
Setup is easy, included instructions lay everything out clearly and with pictures. The only issue I had is that customizing presets on your PC is a bit of a muddled mess, but once I got everything going, it was easy to rearrange. The voice that is default on the headset is awful, I recommend fixing that first once you have the software setup to do so.
If you want a protection plan, make sure you buy one when you buy the headset. Trying to get it done post purchase is such a hassle that I will not be giving Best Buy the money that I am so desperately trying to throw at them.
All in all, a great headset at a great price. If you are on the fence about this product, jump off and buy it. You won't regret it for a single second.

What's great about it: everything
i have owned 5 different headsets, all different brands. Turtle Beach in my opinion is the most durable. i have only had this headset for a little over 24 hours, i have used them for around ten hours now and they are very good, the sound quality is incredible, and they are completely wireless aside from the base. i would have to say if you have the money and are looking for a great headset this is the one..

This is the best headset in the world, they take the XP500 and inject it with steroids. Everything about the Delta is great, it has so many features that help the player out. The Dolby Surround Sound works perfect the other day I heard footsteps of someone approaching me and I was able to react faster. If you love MW3 or BF3 you should buy this headset. This headset proves that Turtle Beach makes the best headsets in the world. Great Job Turtle Beach!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's great about it: Sound Quality, versatility, construction
What's not so great: Price, certain comfortability issues
Right off the bat, the Ear Force Delta's are the best sounding headphones I've ever owned (I've had other Turtle Beaches in the past, including the X31's). The 7.1 surround sound really does make you feel like you're in the middle of the action. And this will give you an edge when playing MW3, I promise. The Delta's use two AA batteries, which I actually prefer. I can get antwhere from 6 to10 hours on two rechargeable batteries, and always keep 2 on standby. Slight crackling starts at about 15 feet, about the same as other headphones I've owned. Setting up the presets can be complicated, but you can just hit the preset button until you find the sound you prefer (I used preset 7 for a little extra bass).
The one issue I do have with the Delta's is that the top of my ears hurt after a couple hours of continuous use. The cups tend to hang lower, and the weight of the headphones adds more pressure than previous versions. Durability is not a question, as these are very sturdy yet comfortable (except for the ear thing).
So the final question is, Are they worth $300? Answer, probably not. The more accurate pricepoint, IMO, is about $225 to maybe $250. But if you're looking for the best sound money can buy, these are what you want. I know I wouldn't trade mine in.

What's great about it: sound editor, presets, and wireless all the way around
What's not so great: needs a rechargeable battery system
just picked this up a few days ago. Took a little while to get the presets downloaded and the sound editor tuned in correctly. Took about ten minutes to make all the hookups. I'm not understanding why this product has so many low ratings. I have a new style xbox so my hdmi is going to the tv and the optic goes to the delta. No interference from my router, which is about 6ft away.
bluetooth works great no poping, dropping or crackling.

What's great about it: Outstanding build quality is second to none
What's not so great: Devours batteries, extra features aren't worth the extra $$$
Having losing my $199 x41's to my son I was left with the $59 x1's. So I'm no stranger to the turtle beach family. Deciding I couldn't live with the downgrade I decided to purchase the ultimate upgrade, the Earforce Delta's for $269 at bestbuy. The build quality is superb and they are nicely detailed. I like that they went to AA batteries instead of the AAA setup in the x41's but make no mistake about it, these things DEVOUR batteries. I got about 10 hours of modern warfare 3 from the supplied batteries before they were done. Where's the rechargeable battery pack(s) for crying out loud. I've heard they eat batteries even faster if you use the bluetooth feature which I didn't. As far as sound processing goes I think the x41's (which are $159 now) perform just as well, they just don't have as many presets as these. The x41's have two compared to 8 on these. These also have the Bluetooth feature and the x41's do not. Outside of that the two sets perform about the same during gameplay which is what really matters. These things also have buttons everywhere which can get confusing when your trying to make adjustments in insanely fast world of call of duty multiplayer. These have a few extras that the x41's don't but if your concern is the sound quality stick with x41's and save yourself some cash. A whopping $110 in savings between the two sets

I have 2 other TB headsets: one wired stereo set for my PS3 and one 5.1 wireless for my 360. When I saw the Delta's it was a no brainer, since I could use them for both systems. The lofty price tag made me think twice. I should have passed on these. Even with all the downloadable settings, I can't get the great bass level I had with my old TB headset. I gave these to my brother and went back to my old set. Regrets all around.
