What's great about it: It is awesome, especially if you love Star Wars
What's not so great: Nothing!
Excellent, was planning on buying it when I saw it was available! Even better, when they lowered the price by $50. You couldn't even buy everything in the box separate at that price! Huge hard drive, for plenty of space.
Only problem that I had, was the first one I bought had a bad power supply, kept going red after 4-5 minutes of transferring from old xbox to new xbox. Exchanged it for a new one same day, and no problems since!

What's great about it: Variety of applications
What's not so great: Not customizable to your zone
We replaced our Wii with the Xbox. I decided to go with the Star Wars version as it seems the best value for the money. Larger Hard Drive, Kinect, Wireless controller, wired headset and a $50 game. Added on an Energizer charge station and a second controller and we are golden. Love the Star Wars sound effects.
My original gripe was that you have to pay for Live to get maximum functionality. After using it for awhile I understand that the minimal monthly fee is allowing Microsoft to provide new and better content and will continue to do so. My current gripe is that a number of the apps that I really want will not work where I live or that you need to purchase a second subscription. For example Xfinity. We don't have Comcast where I live and that is the only reason I can figure out why it does not work. It would be a GREAT upgrade on Microsoft's part if the Xbox would ONLY show you apps that will work in your zip code.

What's great about it: great storeage amount
What's not so great: hard to transfer data
Great system except that we couldn't transfer data from our older 360. This new system wouldn't accept it. Other than that, its a lot of fun to hear the sounds and the memory is awesome for large games.

What's great about it: It makes R2-D2 sounds
What's not so great: The sounds only come from pushing the buttons on the unit itself.
I'm disappointed that the XBox will only make the R2-D2 sounds when you push the touch controls on the XBox itself. I'd like to hear them when using the remote too.
Otherwise it's a great XBox. HDMI connection. 320gb HDD, and Kinect make this a decent value if you're in the market for a new system.

What's great about it: kinect
What's not so great: xbox live membership $ needed for some features
I really like the kinect interface to games.
I really hate that Microsoft wants a monthy payment so you can use the internet connection that you already pay for to access Netflix that you already pay for. Some internet features of games are disabled if you don't pay for xbox live membership. Sure you get a month or more "free" with purchase, but it is not cheap.

What's great about it: Star Wars look and feel, large hard drive, quieter
What's not so great: Kinect is spotty at best
My first Xbox 360 died on me so I opted to buy one of these to replace it. Love the Star Wars design and sound effects! The bigger hard drive is a nice upgrade from my old Xbox. It's nice to just be able to install everything I play frequently to improve load times. This unit is also considerably quieter than my old Xbox 360 which sounded like a jet taxiing for takeoff.
Only negative is Kinect was quite a letdown. I expected very little from it to begin with, writing it off as little more than a gimmick. It was really no worse than I anticipated, but I harbored some hope I was wrong and it would dazzle me. No such luck, but maybe some future Kinect game will impress me.
Over all, quite happy with this. Sad that my first Xbox 360 died four years in necessitating buying this one, but that's a mark against the old system, not the new one. Hopefully this one will last till the next generation consoles are out.

What's great about it: Looks great, super quiet and the R2D2 design is nice!
What's not so great: Nothing really!
I went back and forth for a month about getting this console. I grew up on Star Wars and on video games so this was a win win. This is my 2nd Xbox (other is a Xbox 360 Elite 120 HD). I decided to get this because of the design and increase HD space.
So far I am loving it. It is a lot quieter than my other xbox. If you press the power button or eject button on the console it makes cool R2D2 sounds (doesn't do it using the controller). I had been pondering about getting it for so long and finally decided to buy it. On the day I went to Best Buy to get it I was unaware that it was coincidentally the day they dropped the price from $449.99 to $399.99 (added bonus).
I think by the time you add up the price of all items if purchased separately (console $199, the 320GB HD $129.99, Star Wars Kinect game $49.99, Kinect $149.99), not to mention the cool limited edition design and Gold CP30 controller, it becomes obvious how great a deal this is. If you want a great Xbox with plenty of HD storage and are a fan of Star Wars movies this console is a must.

What's great about it: R2D2 sounds and look
What's not so great: No Blu-Ray
I am new to the Xbox world. I am a Star Wars fan and wanted it for the Kinect. I am very impressed with the Kinect. I would highly recommend it!
The Star Wars game is not bad. I am hoping they will release a gold controller to complement the one that it came with...

What's not so great: Gold C-3PO controller gets "dirty" easily
I've been putting off getting a slim xbox for a while now, because up until now I've been surviving fate with my original xbox from the original release 10 years ago. When I saw this was coming out, it was a done deal Yeah, it comes with the konnect and the free Star Wars game, but I would have bought it regardless. Love the 350 gig hard drive too!

What's great about it: R2-D2 theme is awesome for Star Wars fans.
What's not so great: Not enough Star Wars games for XBOX
As an avid Star Wars fan, you have to have the R2-D2 XBOX 360. It makes R2-D2 noises when you eject the tray. The Kinect game is very cool although a bit short in Story Mode. But overall, very cool.

What's great about it: Star Wars Design, software comes with xbox, awesome new xbox standard
What's not so great: no wireless battery with controller. For an XBOX, kind of expensive.
The Star Wars XBox is one beautiful xbox. This is my second xbox, the first was still running strong. The design is very nice and smooth looking. The R2D2 sound FX are cool, but I wish it would've had a sound whenever you power on the XBOX from the controller, not just the power/eject button.
The c3po controller is really nice looking as well as functional. Despite the fact that the finish is chrome based, it still has the same style of grip compared to a regular controller. The Transforming D pad does nothing for me as I don't really play fighting games, but it is cool to mess with :)
The Kinect system is fun, but if you've never owned a kinect before, make sure you have enough room in your play area. A Minimum of 7 feet was needed in my experience. The voice commands are stellar and make Netflix watching that much more enjoyable. The Star Wars Kinect game is fun but definitely geared more towards kids.
My biggest complaint about the Star Wars XBox is that the C3PO, while being a wireless controller, did NOT come with a wireless battery, but with a shell for AA's. For all the money I paid, I figured they'd at least give me a true wireless controller.
Compared to the original xbox, the new xbox is amazingly quiet. Doesn't seem to generate that much heat, and you can barely hear the disc spin when standing upright. All in all, a great purchase!

What's great about it: It's freakin R2D2
What's not so great: Like all xboxes... it runs hot.
Well... since at its core it is just another xbox I'm not going to touch on the xbox portion very much in this review. I'm going to focus more on the design and what makes this xbox stand out from standard xboxes.
What makes this xbox stand out is the Star Wars design on both the console and controller. They are based off the lovable droids that stormtroopers aren't looking for, R2D2 and C3PO.
I am a big R2 fan and I have to say that I LOVE the console. The little details from the color scheme and blue ring of lights around the power button... the sound effects when you power it on and eject the disk drawer... all the way down to the "Help me Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!" written on the lip of the disk tray.
The C3PO controller is pretty cool, but I'm not as excited about the controller. It's essentially a metallic gold controller with the faux wires on the bottom that look like the wires that are visible on 3PO's lower abdomen. Anyone who hates their tech toys getting covered in fingerprints are going to despise the metallic coloring on this controller. It is a fingerprint magnet.
This bundle also came with both Kinect Star Wars and the standard Kinect Adventures that comes with the Xbox bundles that include a Kinect sensor. I can't really say much about Kinect Star Wars because I've only played a very small bit of the beginning of the game, but from what I played I had a good time using my force powers to throw around droids.
Overall I love this console. The moment I saw the R2D2-themed console I knew I had to have it, and I'm not disappointed with it at all. If you're a big R2/Star Wars fan and looking to replace an aging Xbox console... this one is a must.

What's not so great: Needs a lot more room. A good 10 feet or more
This thing is sooooooooo much fun! I love the console and the game is a lot of fun. It does however need about 10 feet or so of space to play. The console in and of itself is very cool. It makes the r2d2 beeping sound every time it is turned on and off.

What's great about it: R2D2
What's not so great: it's all great
So, after much debate, I finally decided to buy a console other than my wii (NO GOOD GAMES!! grr!). Went back and forth between the PS3 and the Xbox 360, SOOO GLAD I PICKED THE XBOX. I'm having a blast! Not to mention the awesome R2D2 paintjob, C3P0 controller, Star Wars Kinect (which is actually a lot of fun. My friends and I have been playing non stop the past couple days... LOVE the rancor bit, and dancing for Jabba the Hutt is hilarious, and the podraces are fun!! ) A good deal, if you don't already own one.
