What's great about it: user friendly interface
What's not so great: restricted, limited storage
bought for my son's birthday gift but we decied to return for galaxy player 5.0, i am android fan and this was first apple product that my son wanted. he was using android based phone for play for years and we return for Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0. limited storage and small screen is not our type. user friendly interface is good but also stricted too. not like android device. camera is horrible on computer too. with same money go for galaxy player.

What's great about it: Just about everything
What's not so great: Nothing yet
Great product, it's what I needed to listen to audible books, and also download and listen to music. I also use the Ipod touch calander to track my appointments and special dates.
Games are great but a bit tiny for me to play on the touch, however my wife uses it frequently for gameing.

Charging Plugin issues

What's great about it: Apps
What's not so great: Charging and usb connecting port
After a few months of use, the slot to pluggin the charger / usb cable broke. The pins were bend in. Though it was under Apple's one year warranty they wouldn't fix this defect. This makes a great device useless and renders it manufacturing quality as very poor. The 99 dollar cost to repair this is not worth it.

We bought this for our daughters 13th birthday and she loves it so much!! When she goes to bed at night she has it on and the ear buds are stuck in her ears! LOL She takes her Ipod everywhere with her and she says its the best present shes ever gotten!!

What's not so great: Very fragile
My son saved his birthday money and allowance and bought this for himself in April. He was dying to get one and uses it constantly every day. He listens to music, texts, takes pictures, makes videos, goes online, plays games and even can make calls when using wifi. My 14 year old daughter loves it so much she is asking for one for her birthday in August.

What's great about it: Very hands on and easy to learn
This was a gift for my wife, her first MP3 player, and she loves it. Very easy to use and not too complex for folks that want to play music or download a few apps for games.

What's not so great: a little fragile, so we bought otter boxes
Love them, my boys can use them to play games and listen to music and I can put restrictions on it so they cant get on the internet or you tube and see things that they should not. They use Face time to speak with family from out of town ..These are great!!

What's great about it: its like ihone4 without having to have a 2 year contract
What's not so great: At times camera goes blank
Basically its ipad2 which can be held in a palm. It has all the features of ipad2 and almost all the features of iphone4 without having to have a 2 year expensive contract. The only feature missing is to be able to dial but after all its not a phone. Voice is the only feature because you can iMessage if you have iOS5.1 onwards from your iPod Touch to any phone number or email registered on a iOS5.1 iMessage device.

What's great about it: Great picture!! Great sound !! It's so easy to set up and use.
What's not so great: It seems like I am constantly charging my ipod.
I purchased this Ipod for my daughter and she loves it! I don't think she can live without it. 24/7 she carries the Ipod around. I think it is attached to her like a body part. She downloads songs and movies with ease. She searches the internet. I am not sure if there's anything it won't do. Great product!

What's great about it: sensitivity of the touch screen is great when you are typing in words you actually get the letters you touched
What's not so great: Even with a cover the screen cracks very easily :(
I love my ipod and would buy another even though the screen scratches easily and or breaks
