What's great about it: it pops popcorn
What's not so great: not an air popper
Girlfriend want this since we need a popcorn popper, it does the job but takes up more space than need, it does the job but she really wanted an air popper and both stores we went to didn't have any in stock.

What's great about it: Quick, healthy, good for kids
What's not so great: Nothing
We were tired of microwave popcorn's unhealthiness and cost. This popcorn popper has worked out great for both adults and kids. We can add as much or as little butter as we like, healthy seasonings or parmesean cheese. The popcorn only takes 5 minutes but it is worth every minute. The kids love watching the popcorn move around and pop and feeling like they are a part of the creation process while it is cooking and even after it is done as they pick their own flavors. Overall great popper!
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: cleanup
This popcorn popper pops all of the kernels that are put in it. The only thing that my wife does not like is the cleanup that is involved.

What's great about it: Makes great popcorn quickly and easily
What's not so great: Have to hand wash the base
If you love real popcorn, not microwave and not air popped, this is the one to get. It will make a lot of popcorn at a time and does a great job of it. It is easy to add butter using the well at the top, although if you like a lot of it you would be better off melting it in the microwave and adding it after it pops. We used one of these several times a week for years, and it only broke when we accidentally knocked it off the counter onto the floor. We buy our popcorn in 50 pound bags, and the supplier also swears by the Stir Crazy. Don't waste money buying one of the new pricier ones.

What's great about it: Easy to set-up, great price, easy clean-up, easy to use
Simple to use, leaves little to no old maids, and was a breeze for clean-up! I have a large Movie Theater style kettle and this was purchased as a gift for a family member that didn't need such a big appliance. This did just as good of a job as the big kettle does for me at home. We were so impressed that we decided to pick up more to give for gifts to others!
