What's great about it: Its a good quality and good price if you need it.
What's not so great: nothing
This is a great cable. unfortuny we did not need to used it. We have all wireless and the cords doesn't show on the TV. But we have use this cable before and it served the purposed then.

What's great about it: Good signal with low distortion at a low price.
Would buy this again. Used for in wall run of 30 ft with very low distortion although not an in wall cable.

What's great about it: Heavy, low loss, high quality
I bought this spool when I rewired all of my surround sound speakers and I had a long run to replace. I use it for all of my speakers, and aside from its weight and size, which is necessary, I have no complaints at all. Suitable for an audiophile with a powerful system.

I did a lot of research on cables. This was highly rated for the price point. You can buy more expensive cable that may perform better. Buy more than you think you'll need. Buy largest spool available. I bought two tower speakers from BBY (a great deal)to add to my 7.1 home theatre system. I got home and was two feet short of cable(:-( Had to buy from BBY and paid about 2x's cost of amzn or ebay,

What's not so great: a little expensive, 'sticky'
Well, this is wire... not too much to go wrong with wire.. I do appreciate the quality of the copper and the toughness of the covering. One thing to keep in mind - the insulative covering is a little 'sticky', like rubber. While this allows the wire to easilly flex it did cause some binding when fishing the wire through holes in the subfloor and in the boxes I installed in the speaker locations. Not a big deal but talcum powder would be a good thing to keep on hand if you're making long pulls.

What's great about it: Great clarity, perfect signal reproduction
What's not so great: Hard to fit around posts due to thickness
Replaced a set of aging premium-grade copper wire with this spool and noticed a HUGE decrease in noise. Some of the noise reduction could have been from the age of the old cable, but this wire will push a loudspeaker to the edge with no perceptible dead space noise even with my ear right up to the speaker.
Only downside is that the plastic shielding cable running in the middle of each wire and the nylon sheath inside the outer shield make stripping and binding to the posts more difficult than normal. They're "16 gauge", but I was clipping off a few strands of copper using a 16-gauge stripper and not fully stripping the nylon sheath under the outer shielding using 14 gague. The cables actual gauge is somewhere in between. These cables are thick! Well worth the hassle though.

This speaker wire was purchased to improve the performance of my new Polk Audio Speakers. Or at least make sure they were optimally wired. There was no noticeable improvement in the sound of my speakers when compared to generic 16 gauge wire. Save money and buy 12 gauge lamp cord!.
Quality on the other hand was good. The wires seemed to be doubly insulated and it included a inner material that is advertised to improve bass response...the product was put together the way the company said it would be...
Just not sure it was worth the money...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Whole lotta cable for the price, good gauge and quality, and conveniently in a roll.
What's not so great: Probably won't use it all up.
I bought this roll of 50' cable for my new surround sound speaker system (4 speakers and a subwoofer). The price was right, it being in a roll was convenient to use, it had the right gauge and it was easy to strip and plug in the speakers and they look heavy duty. Only problem is I ended up not liking the surround sound speaker system and exchanged it for a pair of pair of big tower speakers. Now I got about 40' of useless cable all cut up left over. Oh well.

What's great about it: 50' of cable is a nice bulk amount to start with
I was hoping for either 12 or 14 gauge speaker wire, but in the end, I decided this 16 gauge wire would do just fine. Ohm's law basically says that you'll lose less amperage over longer distances with higher gauge wire due to resistance which was my reasoning behind wanting a higher gauge wire for my 5.1 setup. However, it's not at all often that I push amperage to the high end of my systems threshold and figured that the gain at the speakers from 16 to 12 or 14 gauge wasn't worth the extra costs.
My advice is to join the reward zone program and wait for the 10 or 12% off coupons to purchase some of this wire in bulk if you're looking to save some money. The quality of the speaker cable itself is very good, and as stated above, you're probably not going to notice much of a difference between 16 and a higher gauge wire unless you have a very high end audio setup for your theater system. All in all, my system sounds great and I don't really have any future plans of upgrading the wire gauge size for 3 or 4 more amps of power out of my speakers.

What's great about it: Does what it's supposed to do
What's not so great: The fact that I didn't order longer cable
I can say that this cable paired with the my Polk Audio RM85 Surround Sound Speaker System does the JOB. It's easy to strip the cable to the desired length and before you know it, I was up and running away with my system. Don't cheat yourself on thin speaker cable. Spend a few extra bucks, buy this and you won't be sorry that you did. Remember you only get out of it , what you put into it.

I just changed my surround sound speaker wire to Monster Wire. What a difference in speaker wire can make; the sound went to a whole new level and the sound got a tad bit louder. This is a wire you must have if you won't the best sound coming from your HOMETHEATER
