What's great about it: Good conversation starter.
What's not so great: Doesn't actually get the hot dog hot.
It does a good job of toasting the buns but the hot dogs come out at about the same temperature you put them in. I either run the hot dogs through once without the bun and then with the bun or microwave the hot dogs a little before putting them in. Also, you have to use really skinny hot dogs as anything of even average size will stick in the hot dog holder. Kid's seem to get a kick out of it though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's not so great: Too long between cooking
Only heats one hot dog (maybe), then needs to cool off for 15 minutes or so.

What's great about it: Great Price - Works well - Kids love it!
What's not so great: Sometimes it's hard to get the hot dog out with the little tongs.
We bought this little toaster for our son's baseball themed birthday party. It was a hit! My son loves it... it works well. We find ourselves not using it at home very often b/c, like the regular toaster, we store it in the pantry.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: does not do the job
This product looks great! However it does not heat your hot dogs at all. I had to run one hot dog three times in order to feel that it was warming it. Very dissapointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
