Before purchasing any Mitsubishi electronics product Google white spots on tv. You will find thousands of complaints of people who have bought these tvs. There is a design flaw and mitsubishi knows it but will do nothing to help you or fix it. Please beware before buying. 3 years is the normal time.for this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: picture quality and easy set up
What's not so great: internet connection without a comuter interface is restricted to VUDU
Value for the price at this high end is relative to the perspective of the person spending the money. but over all this TV is unbelievable
Picture quality and sound are unmatched in anything I have seen. Set up and on-line support at Mitsubishi is excellent and easy. If its time for you to lay-down some serious cash for your entertainment your not going to go wrong here!!
