The resolution is wrong I have been into the store three times and have been given a variety of answers. Bottom line the resolution cannot be corrected. I have had this computer since February 2012 and have never been able to use it!!,,,

What's not so great: Come on, I went from 1/2GB to 6GB; I'm in heaven!
My old HP with 1/2 GB died and I replaced it with this new PC with 6GB. That alone is well worth the purchase. There are ample USB ports; 6 at 2.0 and 2 at 3.0. The wireless LAN keeps my desk neater with fewer wires. I am not a gamer and this computer more than meets my needs. This desktop was a lot of computer for the money!

What's not so great: one of the monitor ports has already ceased to work
I love the speed and the quiet motor compared to previous computer which was purchased in 2003. It's like a whole new universe.

What's great about it: Great Price. Great Pergormance.
What's not so great: Power Supply Limited. No SVGA. PCI Express only.
This is my third Hp computer. I keep comming back because of Hp's excellent customer service. Was disapointed at having to upgrade the Power Supply to install a 2nd DVD Drive. Not compatable with my PCI TV Tuner Card :-( No SVGA Video so I had to purchase a new Monitor as well. I bought the floor display model Computer and Monitor at great discount. The Graphics and Audio are fantastic.

What's great about it: good price for high power
What's not so great: no PCI slots, limited expandibility
my last computer died. I got this to replace it. It was a Sony Vaio Windows XP machine with an underpowered power supply and a small disk drive. This one was on sale, the best the store had, had lots of ram and a big hard drive, is much faster than my old one. I'm not particularly happy with Windows 7 (some of my printer drives not supported, and software not transferable) or that I was forced to take their antivirus (since i already had a free package through my cable ISP). I wasn't too thrilled that there were no full sized PCI slots on the motherboard, which limits expansion (I would have expected some in a major brand machine at this level of performance). Can't transfer my firewire card. Needed a reliable machine for personal investments, taxes, and household media server.

What's great about it: Worked great out of the box; good performance.
What's not so great: Had to get a new monitor due to incompatibility with my newer HP LCD monitor.
Computer replaced a previously owned HP Pavilion that died after about 5 years. Good power, speed and HD storage capacity. The only issue was its incompatibility with a relatively new HP LCD 20" monitor; had to get a discounted LED monitor from HP. All works well.

What's not so great: usb port location
Fired right up and runs well. No problems so far. Nice and fast. Only thing I dislike is the usb ports are on the back of the computer which is quite inconveinent, so much so I might have considered another computer.

What's great about it: Good multi-tasker and runns several monitors at once well
What's not so great: Video card could be better.
The quad core in this computer makes it excellent for multi-tasking operations. It performs quite well for the price.
My only regret is I wish it had a better video card for gaming but should be able to handle just about any game out there at moderate settings.

What's great about it: Fast, good value, upgradeable, wireless network card
What's not so great: Needs a better power supply if you want to install a video card.
Solid computer right out of the box at a very good price, considering it is a quad core. I am using it for school, gaming (WoW & Skyrim @ medium-high settings ~30-60fps, TS3 @ maximum settings), and surfing the web. Has an open PCI express slot for a video card (you WILL need to upgrade the power supply though), and can handle 16GB of RAM, and 2 usb 3.0 ports (on the back). Runs Open Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro without a hitch. Downsides are no VGA output (it has 2 DVI-D ports), the front usb ports are hard to plug into (this may just be my box though), keyboard feels cheap, and has some bloatware loaded on it.

Bought primarily for simple gaming (WoW & KOTR) and video editing. Also bought the Radeon HD6770 Graphics card (which requires you to buy an upgraded power supply) and have been happy with the performance. It would have been nice to have received some sort of credit for the unused, perfectly good standard power supply, but oh well.
Also missing an IEEE firewire port which was disappointing since the sales guy touted it's superior ability to edit videos.

My last computer was an HP and it lasted 8 years (technically I still have it and it runs), so I thought I would get another HP. Long and short is that HP uses a new connection to its own monitors and can only get 680 dpi connection. I spent 3 hrs at the geek squad and they couldn't figure it out. They gave me another new HP out of the box and the same problem happened!! Got a new gateway, which was the computer I had before my HP. I love it!

What's great about it: This pc works well with the monitor we had before.
What's not so great: I had trouble getting our new printer to work with this pc.
This pc replaces an xp system that we have had for several years. It recently froze and we found this new pc with Windows 7 and the software that we needed for our home and volunteering at our church. This newer system is taking some time to get used to and finding the right method of coordinating between the pc at church and home is being accomplished slowly.
