Not worth the $50...buy the Rocketfish glasses.

What's great about it: Nothing really...
What's not so great: flimsy construction, ghosting issues
I bought these locally. I have a Visio 46" Passive 3D LCD. These glasses provide more brightness in the image and even have better 'warmth' in the color. Because of the wide frames and lenses, they provide a much better field of view without the frames being seen. However, they still have slight ghosting issues. Furthermore, they are flimsy and the lenses move around when you try and clean them (and they don't even come with a case or cleaning cloth!). They need constant cleaning because of the way they sit on the bridge of the nose. The lenses come in contact with my eyebrows, allowing skin oils to come in contact with the lenses. Cleaning them feels as if you are going to pop the lenses out at any second or even crack them...very poorly constructed.
After this purchase, I bought a set of Rocketfish 3D Glasses from the same store and for the same price. The Rocketfish glasses are very solid and crystal clear and come with a bag. I will be returning the Gunnars and keeping the Rocketfish. For $50 for passive polarized glasses...I really expect much much more than the Gunnars delivered. Spend your money elsewhere.

What's great about it: Wide field of view, better optics.
What's not so great: Price
I tried these out against the stock LG glasses that come with the TV set (65 inch Cinema 3D). They have a wider field of view, less distortion, and better brightness than either the LG glasses or Real-3D movie glasses. We bought a second pair. I am also testing the Polaroid premium glasses and will post a review of them when done.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: Nothing.
Brighter, cleaner 3D separation, brighter, easier to wear, brighter, higher quality lenses, brighter.

Better than the pairs that come with your 3D television and way better than the freebees at the movies.
These glasses do it right.
