Whether you're blasting zombies to smithereens, leading your squadron into battle or taking on enemies in your favorite first-person shooter, you need to be able to pick up on every sound to play your best. The smallest sneaking footstep and the quietest click of an enemy's reloading gun can make all the difference in the world. And just as you need to be able to hear the in-game noises, your allies need to be able to hear you. Wrap your head around this headset and pull the Trigger on an immersive sound experience. The Tritton Trigger Stereo Headset for Xbox 360 lets the sounds of your favorite games envelop your brain, pulling you into the action and drowning out the outside world. Enjoy booming, deep bass and crystal-clear highs as precision-balanced, amplified 40mm speakers with neodymium magnets emit amazing sound. Featuring separate game and voice volume controls, the Trigger lets you take full control of your game, so you can pick up on every sneaking footstep. If your opponent's heavy breathing or grunting starts to hinder your gaming ability, simply turn a dial on the in-line audio controller to shut him up. Or, crank up the game's volume on-the-fly and let the explosions and gunfire from your game drown out your enemy's voice. Adjust the flexible mic to find the position that lets your teammates hear you best, and connect the headset to your controller using the built-in headset port. When you're taking a break from giving the orders, flip up the mic to get it out of your way. Featuring a padded adjustable headrail and soft, pliable earcups, you'll enjoy hearing everything your games have to say for hours to come.

What's great about it: Design, Sound,
What's not so great: Comfort,
At first I thought that these were great headsets, I loved the design of them and thought that they sounded great, however I used them for about 3 weeks until they broke which really disappointed me because I thought they were great, they white AV cord was broken so I could not hear anything out of the left ear, I traded them in for a pair of turtle beach x12 and I do not regret it for now on I am sticking with turtle beach. On a side not however I really liked how you were able to unplug the tritton out of the volume control switch so that you could use it as a regular headset, only thing that I dislike about turtle beach but a small complaint none the less.

What's great about it: Awesome price for what u get, great for call of duty games
What's not so great: Nothing
Bought this headset today but I must admit I was skeptical at first being used to my turtle beaches which are garbage by the way compared to these. Sound quality is amazing! I loved the fact that the cord was so long that I could sit on my couch and wear them which my HDTV is about 12 feet away from it. Their manufactured by Mad Catz who have been around for at least 10 years..since I first boughten my ps2. Really comfortable to wear and what really sold me was the fact that their black and not white like most others so I don't need to worry about them getting dirty. I recommend you try them out for yourself and you yourself will be sold just as I am

A very nice headset for the price! Ear cups are a little small which reduces the overall long- term comfort but these still do an excellent job at bringing your games to life. Bombs and guns will make you jump and immerse you into the games. Voice recognition seems fine and mic is very easy to move out if the way. The fact that all the necessary attachments are included is even more of a value. Only flaws are that music does not sound like Bose quality and mic is not removable but I bought these for gaming so for the purpose they are wonderful. Only discounting 1 star because of the slightly small ear cups. Cups sit on ears instead or ears being contained inside. Well worth every penny of $40 (on sale) though.

I bought these headphones to play online multiplayer games and they do not live up to my expectations. I will be returning them at the soonest Possible date. The sound of other players talking is very muffled and sounds like they are under water. The game sounds very good but the sound doesnt give me any sense of the direction it came from. All you can hear is explosions and gunfire and your own feet when you move. The chat part is the part i am most displeased about but the game sound isnt very great either. Save yourself a trip and go ahead and buy a good surround headset. Which is what i will be doing.

What's great about it: everything
What's not so great: nothing
These headphones are the best pair i have had ever. They feel good, sound good, and look good. That is to me of course. I'm a person that stays up all night playing xbox live all night and unlike my old turtle beaches they would start to hurt my ears after about playing 2 to 2 and a half hours witch is not alot of time. But i wouldnt recamend these if you have a hard time taking your time. the cord on these things are 14ft, long.

What's great about it: Price, Sound quality, Set up
What's not so great: Small ear-cups, Chat cable isn't universal, No mic monitoring
I recently picked this headset up to replace my X11 headset, which on me. I was soft of nervous about about getting this headset because I have never really cared for Trittons products, but I thought I'd give this one a chance. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the headset right away. It had amazing sound quality, better than that off the X11 (Don't misunderstand here I loved my X11s) and a better price. It was easy to set up and came with everything it needed.
However, this headset also had some downfalls. First off, the ear-cups were smaller than the X11 ear-cups. The headset also seemed a bit heavier so if you were going to play for a while it would start to get uncomfortable. Another thing is that the chat cable that connects to the controller isn't universal. By that I mean if you are using a special controller that isn't like the normal Xbox 360 controller you may have some issues. I personally use the Razor Onza for my controller (which is also amazing) and I needed to take the plug apart and slightly modify it. Lastly, this headset doesn't have mic monitoring (which is were you can hear how loud you are speaking within your own headset) this is a problem for me seeing as normally when I'm playing games I play later at night when everyone is asleep, and I in general have a loud voice. With out the mic monitoring I always have the fear that I am yelling.
All in all, I think this is a great headset for beginners. If you're more serious about your gaming you may want to step up to one of the big-boy headsets.

What's great about it: Stylish! Great design and feels very durable.
What's not so great: Sound quality is terrible. Everything is muddled as if travelling through a foam brick wall. Non-existent highs.
These Trittons are a step in the right direction. When Madcatz (Tritton) sought to co-brand headphones with Microsoft, this meant that they had to step up their game. The build quality of these headphones has definitely gone up. They might feel flimsy at first, but that's because the earcups are now capable of swiveling horizontally for storage and they swivel to stay comfortable on your ears. They are also incredibly light and comfortable when on.
The ear cups are a tad small, and I have small ears! Once you get used to them however, you can definitely wear them for long periods of time. The cups are made of a fake leathery material that a lot of people dislike, but I prefer. I have used cloth earpads for years, but they are more prone to heating up my ears than these are.
The kit comes with an adapter for the analog audio slot located on the 360. This is to allow you to use HDMI and the Analog simultaneously (one for picture and the other for sound), something I haven't really found a use for. People with HDMI/DVI monitors will be very pleased if they don't have Audio Out on their monitor, but I didn't have that problem. In the end however, if you want to use your digital audio out from your monitor/tv, you need an adapter or an extension cable for the audio because the inline control is RCA only.
I have also noticed a huge problem with hooking in the headset directly to my computer WITHOUT the inline adapter. This causes it to be maximum loudness. Either you use the inline controller w/ an RCA to Headphone jack converter or you can use it on your pc outputting 5% volume or go deaf (10% volume is ~100% without the inline). The cool thing however is that it works perfectly on my iPhone, because the plug is the same. It's not nearly long enough to pocket my phone and use it to listen to but it's still very cool. The Mic works as well! I would probably consider it if not for the major drawback...
The sound is terrible. Absolutely terrible. It's not tinny like $5 speakers you purchase at the supermarket, so that's definitely a plus, but it is incredibly muddled. Listening to music is painful as you cannot hear any tones other than low tones. This doesn't necessarily mean the bass is good, but that there is simply a lack of treble. Now, you might say this was done on purpose due to the popularity of First Person shooters (bullets and explosions sound great with good lows), but if all the sounds are just as deep you are simply mixing all the sounds together in the same range. That is not fun, and I am sad to say that these headphones offer sound that is comparable to those cheap novelty headphones (like Skull Candy). They look great, but they don't sound great.
I have to say that you can suffer the sound quality if the size of these headphones and their look is incredibly important to you (as they were to me). You'd be kidding yourself if you think style isn't a huge part of the decision, because these are mechanically no different than a $10 pair with some padding. They do what they advertise, and they are comfortable if you have small enough ears, but the sound is definitely lacking and can get to you after awhile (especially if your game has any sort of theme music to it). I wouldn't recommend them if you are someone looking to change your gaming experience, because the sound isn't there. I will be returning my Triggers and trying out the Detonators which are regretfully a tad larger in hopes of a bigger sound stage and more crisp highs and lows.

What's great about it: GREAT SOUND, GREAT PRICE, INCLUDES ADAPTER
What's not so great: EAR CUPS COULD BE A LITTLE BIGGER
I have been wanting a headset to use with online multi-player (Modern Warfare 3 baby!), but I did not want to pay a lot or have to buy an adapter to be able to use it with HDMI. Then I found this one! It's only 50 bucks, it has great sound, its comfortable (ear cups could be a little bigger), and it comes with an adapter. It has seperate volume controls for game sound and player chat, so you can adjust it according to your preferences. The mic can be put in an upright position out of your way when you are not using it. I am very happy with it! So if you want a good quality headset and you don't have a lot to spend get this one!!!

What's great about it: Comfort, sound, price, affordability, looks
What's not so great: Not very friendly towards users with glasses, Volume control dial pulls headset a bit
This headset was the first one I have ever bought, and I must say that they were really worth the money! They have excellent sound, aren't all that heavy, and are pretty comfortable! (Mind you I wear glasses so after a few hours of gaming the tend to press my frames into my skull, but a little readjustment resolves that usually :) ) The only real complaint that i have is that the control dial for the volume tends to pull on the headset a little, but usually I just put it in my lap and forget about it. Overall this is a very excellent headset for the price!
