What's not so great: Just stop working on a regular basis
This device is far to reach the goal it was built for.
Keeps being stuck, last week it was frozen with no way to do something with, today it's not starting up, stays desesperatly black, and I have no clue how to power it on. For a brand new simple mp3/mp4 player, having so much troubles in a short time is just not really a good sign.
Run away from this product, far too expensive for the piece of junk it is.

What's not so great: screen cracked when i dropped it
pretty good mp3 player, the wi-fi is a plus. only needs to be 3G capable.

What's great about it: Nice colors in the display
What's not so great: Battery life isn't long
This device has a crisp but slightly dark screen. The controls are good and touch screen is responsive. Wifi downloads quickly and it connects to my WiFi hotspot without and issue. My biggest complaint in the battery life. Even when powered off the battery will be dead in a day or 2. I have it constantly pluged in

Bought 3 of these units at one time on a "deal of the day" special. We have returned 2 of them within the first month because they stopped working properly. We exchanged the first one for the same item. So far no issues (but it's only been about a week) The second unit could not be exchanged because the model was no longer available to order. Received a full refund instead.
Still testing the waters on the third unit - so far no issues.
Great for my kids to use simply because of the price we actually paid for these. Would not pay full retail for these based on what experience we have had so far.

What's great about it: Good price, reasonable storage

After transferring a few albums onto the device and playing music for only a couple hours, the player application would lock up when invoked and had to be terminated force-ably. This behaviour continued each time the app was started, even after power cycling the device. I decided to do a factory reset. After connecting the device to my PC via USB, I expected to see empty Audio and Video folders as before. Not the case. Trying to recover from this I found that Philips offers a PC app that includes a 'repair device' feature. Although the device was priced attractively through a Best Buy promotion, I decided it was not worth the aggravation and returned it for a refund. I suspect this device was rushed to market in time for the Christmas season.

What's great about it: Great Sound \ Video, Fast WiFi, USB & Bluetooth Tether
What's not so great: Short Battery Life when playing videos and Games
All of my kids have iPods and my wife has been wanting a new MP3 player to workout with. I thought she would enjoy having similar features to what the kids have, but still have a premium sounding MP3 player. This Android MP3 player was such a hit even the kids are asking my wife to play with it when they have their own iPods.

I purchased this device for my son for Christmas when it was on sale for $107. It's a good device running Android and I feel the $107 price tag is fair. I would not pay much more than that for his device however.
The screen and display quality are both poor. The device needs to be reset more often than other MP3 players I have had. The battery also seems to not last long under normal usage. But again you get a good Android wi-fi device with Android Market to run apps.
Bottom Line: If you can get this device for around $100 its not bad. If you are paying upwards of $200, save your money and get an Ipod.

What's great about it: Good price, easy to use
I was looking for a less expensive version of an iPod touch and this MP3 player fits the bill. It has a very long battery life when the Wi-Fi is not on. The one negative is that it does not support the Facebook app, but I just log into Facebook via the browser.

What's great about it: User friendly, great sound, ample storage, app market

I purchased this mp3 player when it was on sale in December and I absolutely love it! I use it every day. I have my music in the Amazon Cloud and it was simple to download my music wirelessly. The sound is great and I actually love the earbuds that came with it (I've never really used any earbuds that came with the players I've owned in the past). They are the type that fit into the ear comfortably and are quite good at silencing external noise.
What really attracted me to this player was the fact that uses the Android operating system. My husband and daughter both have smart phones (one android and one Iphone) and I like the fact that I can have an android product that I don't have to pay a monthly fee to use (as long as there is wifi access). The only thing it doesn't have that would make it awesome is a camera. There are a few apps I would love to use but they require scanning (camera). We have a Samsung Smart TV and there are some android apps that can be used on it. I have only downloaded one so far. It is called Samsung SwipeIt and it works great. I can choose pictures and videos that are on my player, swipe the screen of the player and the photo/video appears on the screen of our TV. Really cool! I also added an Xfinity app which is supposed to work to control our cable, but I haven't tried it yet.
The battery doesn't take long to charge and the battery life seems quite good. It will drain faster if you are playing a game than if you are simply listening to music.
I also purchased a rubber case and screen protector from Best Buy just to be sure my player was protected.
Overall, I love this player. I've experienced no problems thus far and when I saw that it is on sale again I had to stop myself from ordering another one!

Android. Need I say more!! This ipod offers all the features that my droid phone offers! What a great toy! It is light and compact and easy to use! I would recommend this over the apple ipod! Please, droid doesn't charge an arm and a leg for the name, like apple does. GREAT PRODUCT!

I was excited to see an android-esque music player. Very similar to my galaxy s phone, i do like it a lot. The sound quality is very good coming from the internal speaker. Does not support facebook for android app which was a little bit of a bummer. Also, phillips music management software, Songbird, at first is similar to itunes, but it does not sync properly with my device. Overall i would reccomend to others, but its no where near an iPod.
