What's great about it: High level of detail, Bonus material
This guide is most helpful in acquiring all the treasures in the game. It is highly detailed, so if you're one that needs help with gameplay it would probably be great. I enjoyed reading the backstories and character profiles the most. This edition is hardbound and compliments the Collector's Edition case and statue nicely in design. It comes with a bonus soundtrack cd and you can even unlock exclusive mulitiplayer emblem items with your purchase.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great game, cool swag
First the game, wonderful graphics, great script, amazing game. Once again Naughty Dog has provided a character(s) you care about. I am only 50% through and so far my only complaint is sometimes the controls seem lose compared to Uncharted 1 or 2.
Now how to decide between the normal Uncharted and Collector's Edition? This is my first Collector's edition and there was nothing that stood out as a must have, it was more of a support the cause and maybe get some cool loot for my extra $40. The figurine is a great quality item and looks really good on the shelf next to my Playstation. The belt buckle is real and could really be used ( and has been already). Maybe good for a Drake Halloween costume next year? Leaving the ring/necklace, which is also really cool out of the box. If you are still not sure, go watch the Nolan North Uncharted 3 unboxing for a good laugh and rundown on the items.
Overall this is a buy for the true Uncharted Fan that wouldn't mind a little extra swag with a nearly perfect game. If you are playing Uncharted for the first time (where have you been?) skip the Collector's edition and go for the regular game.
