What's great about it: His classic picks and the music
What's not so great: Nothing is bad about this CD
George really knows how to make you relax, this piece is made just for that. So if you had a hard day at work, get a bottle of wine turn the lights down low and turn Guitar Man on you will soon be stress free!!!

What's great about it: No house music
What's not so great: some of the songs are to short
When you listen to George Benson you get real music

What's great about it: the vocals, the intimate recording
What's not so great: the song choice and arrangements
We all love the Guitar Man, but here he presents a knockoff that sounds like an afternoon jam in the studio... not much prep as far as I can tell.
Danny Boy?! Tequila?! (He even has to call the bridge.... just wing it boyz!).
This is no Benson Burner, and doesn't have the song choice or arrangements that would make a cozy affair like this stand up as a pop gem, either. The vocals are all great, but mostly with solo guitar...
all in all, a nice ditty that really doesn't bear repeated listening... sorry GB, not an 'Easy A'.

What's not so great: Nothing bad to report
Saw him in concert at New York City Town Hall just after release of this latest album.For a man who is 68 years young George can STILL hit those high notes!4 piece backup band was right on time!Benson is the KING of the Jazz Guitar!EXCELLENT!
