The software was a snap to install and relatively easy to understand. I had some trouble getting the software to move my PC license and data over and ended up just purchasing a new Windows license because it wouldnt work (despite shutting down all of my firewalls), but aside from that piece the software works wonderfully once you have the new Windows virtual machine set-up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Great intro price on the new version. About half of Parallels price.
What's not so great: Installation documentation.
Installation documentation could have been better. It indicated a former Bootcamp user could either use the existing Bootcamp partition or could extract Windows from Bootcamp and free hard drive space taken up by the partition, but was not clear on how this was accomplished. After some time in VM Fushion's help screens, I was able to get the extraction of Windows accomplished. Once done, the program itself has worked flawlessly. I am still running Snow Leopard and although the documentation indicates the program is optimized for Lion, it certainly does everything I need it to do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Easy to use
It is a great option to have another OS on your Mac. I have to use some programs from school that are not available in Mac and instead of using the PC's at school I bring mine and run Fusion and it works great!!!
I currently have Windows 7 and OpenSuse and I have been testing windows 8 on it as well.
The new integration feature is great, but I personally prefer to use each OS separately.

What's great about it: Easy install, great directions, makes using Windows on Mac fast and simple, great price, allows multiple installs
What's not so great: Nothing
This program is extremely simple to install and works just as it says it will. I installed on a 21.5" iMac with Lion and a 15.6 MacBook Pro with Lion. It installed very quickly with no problems. Then it walks you through the Windows install. I used Windows 7 Pro 32 bit. It was much faster and simpler than any Windows install I have done on PC's. I am using Windows for Quickbooks Premiere for Accountants because Intuit has not made that product for Mac yet.

What's great about it: not one thing worthwhile
What's not so great: The whole ball and wax experience
I purchased this after using the trial version which worked great on my mac. I uninstalled the trial and then inserted the DVD and it installed fine. I entered the registration number and got a pop up asking me to activate the software and the activation link was sent via email. I never got any emails so I clicked the link to have the email resent. After two hours I rechecked the link and clicked that link and still no email for two days. I then called the company and was on hold for 30 minutes until an operator answered and was very apologetic and told me they were extremely busy but she would connect the to tech support immediately. Again I was on hold over 30 minutes.
I went ahead and installed the free 1 year McAfee software and guess what, the version sent to you is no longer supported by McAfee and uninstalls itself. I lost tool confidence in this whole experience and would not trust VMWare to be on my mac.
Of course BestBuy does not refund software purchases and VMWare does not refund either, so I learned a valuable expensive lesson that VMWARE FUSION is hype and junk. I will stay with Parelles which works fine, activates and registers with ease, and works as promised.

What's not so great: Had to install Snow Leopard twice before it worked. Don't know what happened there.
Installed this on my iMac running OSX Lion. The latest big cat features Bootcamp 4 which only supports Windows 7. I purchased VMware Fusion 4 so I could run Windows XP and continue to use a few of my older programs. I also wanted to run Snow Leopard since Apple killed Rosetta, the software that allowed older Power PC programs to run on Intel processors.
Now I have complete compatibility. Back to work!
