What's great about it: Worked fine while it lasted
What's not so great: Only lasted a year before failing
Got it for a christmas present, the person I received it from purchased in early November of 2010. Started going off on KA band constantly and (I think) would say fault, about a week ago mid-late November 2011, two weeks out of warranty. Worked great until then. Whistler policy would indicate they won't replace it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
