What's great about it: Easy to set up, good price.
This Patriot Memory Signature 2-Pack 4GB did do what it was built to do. It Improve my laptop's performance the way I expected it. System is faster and gave me a better game experience. I have not experience glitches or freeze will playing or surfing the internet. Programs are opening faster, even when having 6-7 different applications opened.
What's great about it: Great price, easy installation
What's not so great: Wish it had better CAS latency
About a year ago I upgraded my Precision M4300 from 32bit Vista to 64bit Windows 7 Pro. Even though it already had 4GB, it still lagged on some of my 64 bit production software and crashed due to memory issues. I knew a memory upgrade was needed and I looked for a long time to find memory for my laptop at a good price. The cheapest I found on the net was in the $140 range. I then found this one ($119) on Best Buy a few weeks before Christmas . My wife decided it would be one of my gifts so put an order in for it.
Installation was very easy, replacing my current two 2GB modules. The two 4GB modules don't seem hot at all and my 64bit applications run much smoother. There is an incredible speed improvement on just about everything, including multitasking. I wish the CL was a little better but for the price it can not be beat.

What's great about it: 8GB and performance increase
What's not so great: None, BUT this listing is misleading. It doesnt state 2x 4GB. Thank you previous reviewer
I upgraded my Lenovo T61P from 3GB (1GB + 2GB) to 8GB (4GB + 4GB. While running W7 Pro 64Bit, prior to the upgrade I was getting low memory notifications constantly. My Windows Experience Index went from 5.9 to 6.1 as well. Installation was flawless and no setting had to be modified. I also want to note, although I have yet to confirm this, but this laptop only runs are 667MHz, but if your computer can support 800MHz your memory performance should be higher. My systems stability is an order of magnitude better as well.
The price here for high quality memory is easily $25 less than competitors (vendors & manufacturers). Highly recommended.

What's not so great: Not 1X8 gb chip
Buyer beware - the photo on the website does not match the product that arrives. What actually came in the mail today was two 4-GB chips. I was hoping to expand my laptop from 4 gb (2X2gb) to 10 gb(1X8gb & 1X2gb). BEWARE OF WHAT YOU ARE BUYING. The photo I am attaching is the exact package that arrived today. If you are able to zoom in on the product UPC, the number on the package matches the product UPC on this product.
