What's great about it: These speakers may be small, but they have big sound.
What's not so great: The glossy finish may get scratched easily
I purchased these speakers off of the recommendation from Cnet.com. They came packaged very nicely. They sound great for the size of room that I have. My room is approximately 15 x 20. During some movies I don't even get close to turning the volume up all the way. To this day I have never even reached maximum volume. This is my first set of high end speakers, and I noticed a huge difference from my previous speakers. I would recommend these to anybody looking to upgrade their speakers. The only problem that I have seen so far is with their glossy black piano finish, they could scratch easily if you clean them with any abrasive or hard cloth.

Get this sound system! it will not disappoint you. I did my research and all reviews are good 5 star on this one. It's my 1st 5.1 sounds system so I don't want this purchase to fail me and it's not!.
Setting up was pretty easy, as I did my own wiring and hooked it up with my Yamaha receiver and Panasonic Plasma 3D. The movie watch Fast Five was awesomely delivered cinematic sound experience.

What's great about it: Everything.
What's not so great: That it doesn't come in a 7.1 config, but you can just add 2 more speakers for this
This is the best small surround sound system I have ever had. It beats the Bose systems hands down with better mid ranges (which are notoriously missing with Bose in particular but also with most small speaker systems). The highs are nice and the lows are great with the Energy sub. Overall, the sound is extremely rich for the size of the system.
