What's great about it: Everything!
The monitor is absoutely fantastic. The screen is crystal clear, and I can see all flaws. That sellers on eBay & Craigslist try and hide. But do not order it from Best Buy online, go to your local store. It took 6 weeks to deliver mine. Because they didn't order enough units from Acer.

What's great about it: Price, look, picture, and size
What's not so great: I was delivered a damaged monitor.
I ordered two of these bad boys so i can set up my eyefinity gaming with three monitors. I fired them both up but i noticed when one of them came on there was a blue dot at the top of the screen. I said to myself no big deal im not going to return this thing for one little blue dot. But over a month its beeen getting worse. There are now blue and green dots spreading all over. Yet the thing just sits there. So im not sure if it was dropped or banged up in the shipping process or it was a manufacturers fault but its to late for a return and now im stuck with this monitor thats getting worse.
Beautiful Picture and size, no other problems with it. Very nice monitors for there price.

What's not so great: Flimsy nonadjustable mount
This is a good monitor for the money. It has a pretty flimsy plastic stand and it is not height adjustable. Its OK if its just sitting there but be careful if you have to move it around.

Pictures and videos look beautiful on this monitor. 1920 X 1080 resolution is great - just make sure your video card supports it. No frills (no HDMI, no speakers, no up/down adjust, only tilt) but the image is great and the price is unbeatable for a 23" monitor ($109).

What's great about it: Low price & great picture. Hi-rez works fine & fast. Easy set up.
I use this monitor for video ediing, photoshop, and Audio applications. It does what it is supposed to do, the picture is great, set-up is fast and easy. It comes with no frills (no HDMI in or internal speakers), but I did not need any of that, anyhow. If you need a good, hi-rez computer monitor, this one will do the job.

I bought two of these monitors over the Thanksgiving weekend. I paid just under $110 for each monitors. Overall, the monitors are well made, have a great resolution and perform better than what I would have expected a $110 monitor to operate at. I used this monitors side by side connected to two different PC's and use an application called Synergy to transfer keyboard and mouse control between the two systems. I'm also in front of these monitors five days a week as I bought them for job.These monitors comes with a 1900x1200 resolution which is perfect when displaying text and images.
The slight negatives, the brightness was too high for me, I've had to set both the contrast and brightness to 0 and set the color temp to warm, otherwise it felt like the monitors were burning my retina's. The brightness may be dependent on graphics card as one of the PC's I use (running Linux - Debian) the contrast and display could be set a little higher than 0 but not by much. The other slight negative is the user interface is very poor, it took me several minutes to work out how to adjust the contrast, brightness and how to switch between analogue and digital interfaces.

Monitor controls are mounted under the screen and out of sight. There are no lables visible if you want to use this feature - Therefore Design gets an avereage or below score.

What's not so great: Not fully functional under Windows XP
Contrary to the comment above, Acer does not have native Windows XP drivers available for this monitor. As a result, the monitor cannot be detected on Windows XP via Plug and Play, and many resolutions that your existing video card will support with other monitors may NOT be supported using this monitor. In my case, an admittedly older computer running Windows XP cannot display 1440 x 900 on this monitor, even though it can run that resolution just fine on other monitors that have native Windows XP drivers. If you have Windows Vista or 7, it seems like a great monitor, but if you intend to use this on a Windows XP computer, buyers beware!!

I purchased this monitor for $109.99 on Cyber Monday and o man... What a steal this was! The screen is huge! with a great picture! Its compatible with Windows XP which i have. The only downside that i could think of that it has no HDMI input to use my PS3 but i have a 37 inch vizio for that. I didn't have to adjust the picture, i like it how it is in its default settings.
