What's great about it: Very Interactive
Since I bought this WII system I have had so much fun. I had my system for less than a week when my grandson came over and took over. I basically had to pry him away. So that's was a great plus. I give this system two thumbs up.

What's great about it: Fun Factor
What's not so great: nothing yet
The Wii was purchased as an item in a friends wish list. I was able to see a webcast with her enjoying the dance game. I can only say, that the delight in her face, while getting an incredible workout, made my year. I feel this is much more important than showing what the unit looks like, or how to operate it. The pure joy it brings makes it a great gift!! Thanks to Best Buy, it was very east to order one in person, pay for it in person, and have the recipient pick it up at their local store.

What's not so great: Not backwards compatible, best resolution 480p
Iva always been a Nintendo person since I was a kid and always went with Nintendo. I eventually got an Xbox and stuck with that since it came out then recently went back with Nintendo to purchase this. I still got my nes, snes, 64, GameCube. This system is great fun if you're looking for something different from today's FPS, RPG's etc. the one thing that will drop its score is that unlike the first models, this wii is not backwards compatible with GameCube discs. Bestbuy failed to note this as 50% of my decision was because I was looking forward to selling my GameCube and still being able to play smash bros Melee. Another downside, GameCube controllers cannot be used with this model. The first model IS backwards compatible and can use GameCube controllers. After I found this out I simply purchased the classic controller pro.

What's not so great: cant use item i bought and used on the older unit this was to replace me other unit did not fit the bill
it great product but they made it so you cant use our old style dance pad
and other item that were useable with the older units

What's not so great: Lack of Gamecube support.
This was bought as a replacement for an older Wii. My kids love their system. The only problem is the removal of Gamecube support, as my son has some old Mega Man Gamecube games that he can no longer play.

Was looking for a fitness program I could use in the privacy of my home. Research lead me to Wii. It's a great product that can be used for gaming, netflix, fitness, you name it. It is better than a gym membership!

What's not so great: it doesn't have the DVD option to play movies as other consoles.
this is the second one since the first one was stole from our home. the kids chose this one again because of the kind of games you can play with it... and because we can play together as a family.
