If there is one live album that you buy this year, Rush Time Machine 2011: Live In Cleveland should be it. Even though the Rush boys are pushin' 60 they still can perform like they are in the prime of life. Moving Pictures live, what could be better?

What's great about it: DVD easy to navigate, better than excellent price
What's not so great: Nothing
Riveting visuals and engrossing music. Went to the concert in Omaha and the DVD was so well done I felt I was there again. I hope my apartment neighbors enjoyed the music also.

What's great about it: It's RUSH
1st time I saw RUSH was at a lake resort outside of Cleveland called Pineway Trails. A 3 piece band, that was just about to release their 1st album. They were one of the best bands I ever saw.
Its great to hear that they kept improving through the years.

Buy it for the content, not the packaging.

What's great about it: You have the best seat in the house to see one of the greatest rock bands ever.
What's not so great: Packaging is nothing more than a box and credits. No photos, bio, notes, or anything of substance sans one wide shot.
As a Rush fan the lack of anything other than a book of credits w/ the DVD is a bit of a let down, but let's be honest you're buying this for the disc inside. Having seen the show in Chicago, this is a great version of the Time Machine concerts. Too bad the special ending video was left off the disc, but you can find it on YT. The encore reminds us all how Rush got their following and show they can still bring it every night 30+ years later. As a drummer I loved the irony of the fan's sign for "Stick it Out" made with VF sticks (Peart has endorsed PM for decades). Knowing Rush they likely put it in the video on purpose. "Witch Hunt", along with the more recent "Caravan", "Far Cry" and some Rush brand humor highlight the concert. Can't wait to see the boys live again soon. Crank up the GeFilter, it's sausage time!

What's great about it: It's Rush!
What's not so great: I'm not there!
Saw this show in Boston, pretty much the same. Any true music fan would appreciate the sheer talent and sound that this trio puts out. They've been around for over 3 decades and still bring it. Getty can't hit the high notes like he used to but that's truly insignificant. Neal Peart is arguably the greatest drummer ever and the cameras capture his amazing work here from so many different angles. There were people from 6 to 60 at the show. Rush fans will obviously appreciate this (and it may have been their final tour) but anyone who is a fan of music should enjoy this show.
