What's great about it: design, quiet, good size
What's not so great: the book that comes with it (it's OK, I'm being picky)
I recieved the drive as scheduled with no shipping problems. I took it out of the box and immediately liked it. I read a review were the user said he didn't like Verbatim returning to a plastic case instead of metal. I think the plastic case is just fine. It still feels very sturdy.
My problem with the book that comes with it. It does fine telling you how to connect the drive to a computer, but then, to install the software, it tells you to double click the StartPC.exe file. I am sort of a computer guy so it didn't bother me. But I think that general market devices should not make the user click on an executable file to run the installation. It should prompt the user to install using a diallog box.
Anyway, great product. I've had it for a month and no problems. I have not used it heavily but the feeling I get from reviews is that if it is going to go bad it won't take much time. By the way, you can't beat the warranty!
I would recommend this product to a friend as well as purchase it again myself.
