Wanted to add more memory to my Acer laptop, bought a larger memory card, replaced one of my existing ones with the new one, worked fine. Long as you order the right card you shouldn't have any problems.

What's great about it: Installation was a breeze
Researched other reviews to make sure I was getting the right memory. Apple wanted $400 for 8gig of memory for the Mac mini. Got 2 x 4 gig sticks onsale for $18 each, popped them in and booted up. Sooo easy.
Thanks to comments from others that guided me.

The Price was Right Modernica wanted $425.00 to upgrade my MacBook Pro i7(15-inch, Early 2011) to 8gb from 4gb and I did it for less than $52.00 As stated the memory is a direct replacement for the installed apple memory and it works great. The computer speed up during processing of photo's in lightroom which is a great benefit. It really works. Another thing I communicate with Apple and will not void the warranty change the memories, they will not have problem with that. Change them will like them but their MacBook Pro (15-inch, Early 2011). Thank you.

I was not expecting the best out this memory from PNY but it was on sale and reviews seemed to be good for it, so i took a chance and everything seems great. I updated a macbook pro 13" to 8gb, it upgrades the graphical memory as well, and everything seems great.

IT's good cheap RAM! I put two of these puppies in my iMac. Went from 4gb RAM to 12 in a matter of minutes! Mac users should download the pro version of "Free Memory" to help you manage all this extra space. I NEVER have to worry about virtual memory. Even running cs5.5, AutoCAD, and other programs at the same time. It was only 25 bucks each!!

What's not so great: Nothing bad at all.
Bought this ram for my Late 2009 MacBook Pro. Installed it and it works flawlessly. I had 4gb ram and the 8gb was a large step. Boot times went from 40 seconds to 17. VERY fast for everything I have installed.
This also works flawlessly in my brand new MacMini i5 that came with 4gb ram.
Super easy install and a great price.

What's great about it: memory works.
I just picked up a new laptop with 4GB of memory. Running linux with KVM windows was a bit sluggish. Bestbuy down the road had the necessary memory in stock at a decent price so I headed over and picked it up. Installed it and have had no problems (and sluggishness went away, as expected). I wish they would stock a larger selection of upgrade components.

over all i would say that, except for this one problem that was i suppose random, that this is some great ram for the price and it performs very well.
The problem that occurred with this RAM FOR ME in this case was that it was causing my computer ( a 2011 MBP 13' i5) to have recurring kernel panics (basically freezes my computer and forces me to reboot). This happened to me once the very day i installed it and I optimistically tried to not blame the ram. However, after more research and 3 more kernel panics I found that it was indeed the recent installation of RAM that had cause this problem i have since returned the PNY RAM and traded it in for some Crucial brand RAM and that has been working quite smoothly.
in conclusion i would say that it was just bad luck on my end and i just got that one bad apple but i didn't want to take another chance with the same brand. I don't mean to discourage potential buyers just a subtle warning
