Kids get bored driving everywhere. This is great because of the Link decorations all over it and its portability. Son totally had a cow when he opened the box.

I played the original Zelda ocarina of time and it is by far one of my favorite games. Seeing it with updated graphics is awesome as well as having it be a handheld makes it a pretty cool new toy.

Very nice bundle, got it during black friday for a good deal. Not worth $300+ that was the original price, but for les then $200? very nice.
Main issue is the fact that there aren't that many games out for the 3DS. Zelda : OoT is one of the best out so far, which makes this bundle great. The gold triforce design looks very smooth with the shiny black main body color.
Not sure what else to say about this. It comes with a 2 GB flash card?

What's great about it: Integrated social tools and media center
What's not so great: Battery does not last as long as on older units
Except that Nintendo has done a great job with getting the social aspects of gaming tied into their Eco system. Now that the they have Netflix and great games are starting to show up the kids use their 3DS' as their social and entertainment hubs. I sneak off with one of the 3DS units from time to time for sessions with the newest Zelda game, which is a lot of fun. The 3D usage no longer feels like a gimmick or technical demo of possibilities.

Fun system. Lots to do with it. Only have OOT 3D so far but it's still tons of fun.

What's not so great: The sparkly-ness to the black color
I was waiting for a 25th anniversary Zelda 3DS to come out before getting one. To make things better, Zelda 3D is bundled with it!
I saw it at the store and it was cheaper than it was at any other retailer during black friday.
I got it. The design is nice. Doesn't scratch off. I recommend for any Zelda fan!

This bundle is well worth it if you are considering a 3DS, for only around 10 dollars more than a regular 3DS, you can get a specially design Legend of Zelda 3DS plus the 3D remake of Ocarina of Time.
3DS- the system
The last DS system I had was the lite, so it was nice to have one that finally connects to the internet. The 3D does bear some getting used to, and I would not recommend playing more than a couple hours at time, but you can adjust it (I keep mine halfwayish most of the time) or turn it off completely if you wish. The game library is finally starting to get impressive with Nintendo finally releasing Mario games for it.(with more great games coming)

The graphics are updated, its nice to see this version of Link be closer to true 3D. Also an interesting addition being able to aim with the gyroscopic movement of 3DS.

My son got this for Xmas and was surprised to see this version under the tree. He loves Zelda so this came as a nice surprise. The high gloss back with gold trim is sleek/uncommon and build quality seems better than earlier DSI's. The 3D function is not used much but Nintendo is forcing owners of older DSI's to buy if they want to play newer 3DS games in 2d or 3d. My son also likes watching Netflix with our wireless router. The bundle was priciey but my son seems to like it and that's all that counts.

My 11 yo son received this for Chirstmas as a replacement for his limited edition Zelda ds lite. He loves it, and the 3d effects are really neat. It's great that he can play all of his old games too. Battery life seems good and the larger screens look bright and punchy.

Got this so I could give my son my launch 3ds. The problem is that the screens nintendo is using have changed. They aren't as bright as my launch unit, and have a yellowish hue to them. Exchanged the one I got shipped to me in the store and the replacement has the same issue. Someone new to the system may not care, but when you see these two systems side by side it really stands out. They systm itself is an excellent machine.

Everything looks great. The system is beautiful to look at and is a wonder to hold. Unfortunately, the one thing I don't like is the way Nintendo packages the system. The outer box does not have good way of opening it. As someone who is very conscientious about how their video game paraphernalia looks., I am severely disappointed that part of my box is now warped because of Nintendo's poor design.

What's great about it: The design and 3D!
What's not so great: Feels like its missing a right thumb stick. Then again N64 didnt have one. And we played games just fine.
I gotta say. It felt like I went on a quest to obtain this thing. Best buy said they had it in pasadena but didnt. Went to downey just to get this baby. It was like completing the Biggoron's Sword quest on the game. Annoying, but sooo worth the trouble! Anyways, this thing is so beautiful I cant believe I thought twice about buying this thing. The 3D and improved graphics adds so much to a classic. Hardcore gamers, dont miss out on this!

This is hands down the best handheld on the market packaged with one of, if not the greatest game ever made. The fact that a handheld version of a game that came out in 1998 is still this good is insane.
