What's great about it: Performance, good price, very good and easy user interface
What's not so great: No plugin for older hardware, ie. joystick
I'm an Exterme Gamer and use my PC for music, movies and of course, the normal computer applications. I've had this sound card now for a long time. I connected my set of 5.1, speakers to my SoundBlaster Extreme Audio X-Fi card and WOW. My games came to life, my movies are immersed in quality and depth.
I've used other sound cards, but Creative did well on this sound card. You can't beat the sound, reliability and user easy interface for the money. I only use quality parts in my PC, so when it came time for a sound card, I chose this and still enjoy it everytime I turn on my computer.
