What's great about it: Her performance, period.
I had heard a couple of Adele's songs off of the album "21". I then saw her perform on the Grammys and was blown away by the difference between the studio version and the live singer. I decided to buy this and hear the rest of the songs plus some that I didn't know. Her voice really shines in this mainly through her emotion that she put into each song. Plus, (and this is a big deal to me) she explains in a "Storytellers" kind of way where each song came from and their inspiration. The audio CD is a great way to hear these great performances on the go. If you like Adele, buy this and then you'll love her.

Bring the concert home.....this Blu-Ray is excellent. Adele is great...the atmosphere is awesome.....you feel like you are in the front row. BUY THIS!

What's great about it: Great concert recording!
What's not so great: Not enough special features
The only complaint I have about the concert is that it was too short. The shots were great, and the sound and picture were awesome. I only wish the blu-ray had more special features. It has a short documentary, but that's all. But for overall production value, the concert was top-notch!

What's great about it: Excellent quality, great editing, choice of songs, artsy, personal feeling to the interaction.
What's not so great: A little profanity
I knew I was getting a DVD, and it didn't disappoint! Adele sounds phenomenal and her interaction with the audience made me laugh. She was even more down to earth than I had thought she would be. Then, as an added bonus, the entire DVD is also on a CD that you can listen to anywhere else you want to! Excellent little surprise. Though it's edited to leave out the chatting with the audience, so it's just the music. But it's great and you can sing along in the car....you know you will :)
As for the "parental advisory" on the box, she curses a few times during her commentary. It's nothing you haven't heard before, but you might not want your kids to hear it. She says something about how she can't believe she's at "Royal f*-ing Albert Hall" when she first walks out. That's the one that sticks out in my mind.

What's great about it: HD video quality, good camera shots, good surround sound mixing
What's not so great: high-def shots show every flaw on peoples' faces
I've seen Adele in concert and this video captures the feeling that you're right there in the middle of the concert hall. The high def shots of the crowd are a bit unsettling because you can see every blemish, pockmark and pimple on the untouched faces of the audience. Other than that and the self-consciousness it makes you feel for them, the sound and camerawork are awesome. If you have surround sound (you should!!) the crowd noises behind you make you feel like you're immersed in the middle of a concert.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Adele gives her all in this performance, which is a welcome treat to those of us in the US who were unable to see her live in 2011 due to her health issues. She is a fantastic live performer, as evidenced over the years and chronicled in many Youtube videos. Even though she starts off the show a bit nervous and shaky, she quickly warms up to the audience and gets back to her normal wise-cracking self, and belts out all of the crowd favorites from her two CDs. I especially loved her performance of "Make You Feel My Love," which she dedicated to Amy Winehouse. Thinking about it right now gives me goose bumps. I definitely recommend this to any Adele fan (who probably doesn't need my recommendation, since he/she's already bought the DVD) or to anyone who has heard of this artist's amazing achievement throughout 2011 and wants to know more about her. The DVD is well worth the money (even better if you can get it on sale like I did)!

What's not so great: showed up 1 day after release
If you have longed for a performer and not some dance around on the stage person. This WILL BE THE DVD at Grammy's FEB 2012.
I would reccommend to a stranger if they like music.

If you have any inkling to see Adele live, watch this DVD. It will invoke chills as you crank your home stereo to unheard of decibels and adjust your high definition quality television. It will absolutely, positively BLOW YOUR MIND. Adele is truly an inspiration and wonder. Every time I watch her sing, it is proof that some people are born to something with their life... hers of course is singing. Standing ovation, 5 stars, two thumbs up, and everything in between... this video will leave you breathless. Enjoy!
