SynopsisDo you love comic books? Are you a sucker for a good kung-fu flick? Now, your two greatest loves come together for one epic adventure — with you as the star. The enemies are advancing and the tension's growing thick. Hook up your Kinect sensor, stretch for a few seconds and get ready to take on evil using real kicks and punches — and a few super powers. Kung-Fu High Impact makes you the star of your own comic book adventure where your real kicks, punches and other body movements translate on screen to become bone-crushing kung-fu moves. Set out on a legendary journey in Story Campaign, and make your way through 14 levels and 15 in-between story episodes. Immerse yourself in the comic book atmosphere as the visuals change when you switch between real and parallel worlds. Test your skills against 16 smart enemies, but don't get locked into a repetitive fight sequence. These bad guys are smart — you'll have to use a different strategy for each one. Tap into super powers and special items, such as a magic bow, double damage, mana boost and more, to help you along the way. Fight the way you want in Custom Fight, where you can select the environment and combination of enemies and customize the gravity, speed of time and movement exaggeration settings. Show your friends that you're the toughest fighter as the enemies keep coming stronger and in more numbers in Survival mode. For the ultimate multiplayer mayhem, use your real kicks and punches with the Kinect sensor to take on up to four friends using standard controllers. Jump into the fist-flying action of Kung-Fu like never before.

This is a fun game for everyone. Got a kick out of that the avatar is you. The Kinect puts your picture into the game. Easy to learn and more challenging as you progress. Easy to sub which was nice.

What's great about it: Graphics
What's not so great: Storyline - might need to be longer
This game literally puts you in the game. It scans you and your image and movements actually take place in the game against a comic strip backdrop. Simply amazing! My 8 year old (soon to be 9 year old) played this game for 2 1/2 hours each night during Xmas break. Before you call me a bad parent - it was 2 1/2 hours of straight high impact exercise. This was MORE exercise than he would normally get during a NY winter! The downside is I think he's almost finished with the game. I'm not quite sure yet since he hasn't played it much since school started. It does say T for teen so there are some minor language issues that you should be aware of and the nature of the game is Kung Fu so there is fighting, kicking, etc. If you're not into that - don't buy it.

Kinnect Tracks Very Well. You pose for pictures that are put into the comic like story line. It's just a fun game to play.

What's great about it: Very responsive, seeing yourself in a Matrix like battle is awsome!, multiplayer battle mode is great for a party

I can’t figure out why nobody is talking about this game? I originally passed on the title the first time I seen it because of the lack of marketing. But thank goodness for internet reviews because I decided to take a chance on the game after reading a number of positive reviews.
The game is very responsive unlike a negative review I read on one of the popular gaming websites. And it’s amazing how well it puts you in the game. If you’ve ever wanted to see yourself in a Mortal Kombat game, this is the game for you. It was a total hit at yesterday’s Christmas party. The battle mode was great. Up to 4 players can each control a bad guy and try to take on the main character. I can’t say enough good things about this game and highly recommend it.
This game is $29.99 at gamestop. I’m sure bestbuy will price match it making it an even better value.

What's great about it: You are scanned into the game!!
I just bought a Kinect during the crazy Black Friday deals, and needed to build my library of Kinect games. After reading the review posted here on Kung Fu High Impact, I thought: why not! I love fighting games (TEKKEN!!!) and thought this was an interesting concept since you are actually scanned into the game. I played this game for 3 hours straight, and did not expect to work up a sweat too! The gameplay is fun, I love seeing myself in the game battling enemies and there's a cool comic book feature too, where the Kinect scans you into comic book scenes that introduce different chapters of the story. Multi-player is an added bonus (up to 4), but only one person can actually be scanned into the game. It's funny to watch my friends play too...everyone really gets into it!
Anyway, definitely recommend this game.

What's great about it: Good price and fun!
If there is one game you buy for yourself and/or as gift during the holidays, this should definitely be the one!
Fighting games are such simple concept, yet so much fun! And as a big fan of Tekken and Street Fighter, I have always wanted to actually be in the game, fight the enemy and win the level.
Kung Fu High Impact made that wish come true...your actual image is in the game and what happens depends on the moves you make. You don't have a be a Kung Fu expert - you can just battle the enemies and have fun. And you are having a great time, you don't even realize you are getting a workout - I never got that from playing Tekken while sitting on my couch!
Honestly, get this game - you'll have a great time!
