What's great about it: $, space, time, even heat distribution. 2 cooking levels.
What's not so great: the ding isn't unique. must read manual before use.
I bought a red oster toaster oven, but it only lasted 6 months before the door fell apart. So I sought a toaster oven that would prove to be durable, energy efficient, and a substitution for my big oven. I was willing to shell out over $100. for a new one. After researching brands and models, I found delonghi had a great reputation. I chose this toaster oven and ended up saving so much $$. This toaster oven is sooo fast because of the convection option. I did have to read the manual to figure out to simply just toast. The heating is even from front to back. The .7 measurement provides for ample space and this one doesn't cost so much as some .5 models. No preheating long wait times like my big oven. So I can throw a frozen pizza in, turn it on, and it is done in way less time than my main oven. I want to buy one for my mom and everybody in my family who would appreciate fast baking. We rid ourselves of owning a microwave like many in these modern-educated times. A toaster oven is the next best thing. This toaster oven also has two levels to cook on. And the baking tray replaces the rack (for those drippy meals) so no more stacking the baking tray on a rack--it just slides right in like the rack would. I have been an owner for a month now so still waiting on the durability judgement call. I am elated with the amount of money I spent, the fast cooking, and the even heat distribution! Hopefully it will prove to hold on to my approved rating for the months and years ahead. :)

This unit was a gift for christmas, works very well, lots of featue
res, large space. The outside gets very hot while using, so b careful on placement , and touching it. The fan for convection is a bit loud, as well is the timer, I would use a digital timer if its a problem. All in all very pleased, i own a few Delonghi products, so I know they are built well.
