What's great about it: Easy set up
What's not so great: Poor night quality
Great Camera.
I finished installing the FD8134V camera after a few short hours. Most of the time was spent trying to run the CAT 5E cable and power cable to the outer part of the house. I spliced the power cord using some 18 gauge thermostat wire since there wasn’t an outlet nearby. I also downloaded a free app so I can view the camera from my Android phone. The picture quality is great. The camera faces down my drive and I am able to read my license plate when I stop moving at a distance of about 25 feet. The camera is about 9 feet up. Viewing the camera on my laptop has a refresh rate of about 25 FPS. On the phone it has about a 1 FPS rate. The night time quality is a little less than what is desired. You can make out movement and objects at night but you would not be able to use the video for identification purposes. The cameras picture quality is better than a neighbor’s camera that is 540 TV Lines. I’ve had the camera for about 3 days and I really like it. I plan on getting another Vivotek camera but it will have a little better night time quality.

The only small problem I had was allowing my router to allow the router to open a hole in the firewall to allow the camera to be viewed from the internet. After a few tries I finally figured it out.
Great quality, easy access, would buy again.
