What's great about it: Excellent pictures and movies when it's enough light
What's not so great: Poor informatio and instructions
I returned after my trip because. It's not good under low lights. Appreciate to Best I returned and they were very friendly

What's great about it: Great price, easy to use.
Good quality HD video. Really easy to use, to set up and upload. We found it two days before my daughters wedding and we got great video footage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We really expected more from a Sony product, especially at the price. The live streaming is awkward and borderline useless. The video blurs a lot and the stills are very poor quality for the megapixel advertised and the lens. If Best Buy would allow it, I'd return it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately it was 2 weeks before we opened the box.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I actually like this camera, and its very cool. BUT there is definitely a few flaws and it needs updates to the software.
The Video quality is 1080, and it looks good. However, The zoom doesnt adjust like some of the newer Camcorders, it simply just zooms, so it loses quality and will be blurry. It also may lose focus depending on what u are zooming on.
Also the autofocus gets thrown off by certain lighting and angles, so u may need to move sometimes.
It does have a light, HOWEVER the light only turns on and off, it does NOT flash when u are taking a picture. So if you need a light, u must turn the light on before takin the picture.

Also, this camera froze. Not sure if there was something i did to cause it or if it just happens. I used it to make a clips from 3 different events. In the 3 events i used it for, it froze at least once during each event. When it freezes, u must hold the power button and HOPE it goes off.
The Battery is built in and the life is short. I cant tell an exact time but i would guess about 1 hour or 1 and a half hours. So if you plan to use this for longer, get some kind of USB charger or ur cord/computer handy.
I bought it the day it was released, because was looking for a camera and i was impressed with It. However, some of the software will not be out until SPRING. So make sure u check that the software you want to use is available already.
I did test the WIFI & Live streaming, but only barely. The live streaming worked, thats all i can really say, as i didnt test it heavily and wasnt impressed from the small test i did (but i may work better after being tested more and the bugs are worked out).
I actually ended up taking it back, as it just didnt fit what i wanted, i needed a better battery life, and the other small issues. Its a cool camera, and will be better once the software bugs are worked out just wasnt perfect for me.

Cool and Innovative. There arent many like it.
Small enough to stick in your pocket (but dont scratch the screen)

My Suggestion: I would say its worth buying, if your looking for the features, cause theres not many others like it. Play with it, see how it works for you. You could always take it back. However, do your research on what software is and isnt out at the time u are buying it. With a few updates and some of the extra software thats coming out, i think it will be a good buy in a few months. (but be careful of the battery life.)

I had to return the camera back to the store. It is way too cludgy, the image quality leaves much to be desired when you try to zoom in. I get much better results with my less expensive Flip Camera. I don't find it to be user friendy. It's loaded with way too many options and some of the software is not even coming until Spring of 2012.

Had to send back to Sony after 3 weeks. It keeps freezing up.
Picture quality is pretty good for a little camera until you zoom in then it is blurry. Still picture quality is pretty grainy.
The wi-fi feature is pretty neat that is why I bought this camera
Overall for the price Im not very happy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Here is a Boggie Flash Camera that works hard for you so that you don't need to ini order to get great pictures!
