I pick up my laptop and when I got it home and put in the battery plugged it in and it never worked when I took it back the next day I found out it was delivered with fried hard drive...I had to have the store re-order wich will take 10 days and I had to settle for color I do not want....I hope the next one works or I will give up on Sony for good...

I purchased the laptop because I thought the hard drive was 640GB. It arrived in the mail today and I turned out that the hard drive is only 585GB. I called Sony and they gave me some weird explanation. I am going to return this laptop.
This product is... hard drive only 585gb

What's great about it: Sooooo fast
What's not so great: Battery life COULD be better but I am normally at home with it so it's not an issue.
Love this laptop! It is great, especially for the price! Any other good brand with the same type of specs would cost considerably more.

What's great about it: Everything
I researched several brands before purchasing the Sony. I am so pleased with my purchase. The screen is captivating, it is crystal clear, I love the keyboard. It's so comfortable that you can easily find yourself working for hours because it doesn't feel like you are on a laptop. The white finish is really nice, fingerprints and smudges are really non visible. And I have taken it out in public twice and each time a spectator has said, wow, nice looking laptop! The white definitely offers a certain appeal that I didn't see in the black. The touch pad works fine, however the tapping feature was not for me so I uninstalled it. I paid 629.00 and I rec'd a Best Buy's anti- virus yr. subscription with purchase. I researched and I believe I bought the best laptop for my needs at a decent price.

I bought this laptop on Saturday and picked it up on Monday! 5 days later I was sitting at home and suddenly the whole screen turned baby blue! I am taking it back to Best Buy as I am still in my 14 days! Not happy, I had my last Sony Vaio 4 years with no problems!

First of all, I purchased 3 laptops before I decided on the 4th one which was this sony. They all had something I liked but not everything like the Sony. It is an i5 processor and it is fast and that is what I i wanted something fast and one that would continue to be fast. I used my brothers for awhile and it was 2 years old and just as fast as the day he bought it, that was what sold me the most it did not slow down one bit! It is.sleek, I love the glacier white, the keyboard is very comfortable. I just love everything!!! It is definitely worth the price. You are not getting a cheap product that's for sure with the well known name of a sony!! Its really NO Bologna!!! Good luck to All!

What's great about it: Appearance, Fast Speeds (6GB RAM & i5 Processor), Easy to Set-Up, Will run just about any program
What's not so great: Lack of a Firewire port, Poor Web Cam/Built-in Mic Quality, Maximum sound output is about 1/2 of my previous laptop
I've had this laptop since 01/31/12 - time for a 1 month review.
Overall, the laptop is quick, loads programs fast, can multi-task, has a great design and looks great in solid white. When I turned it on, It wasn't loaded with 20 trial programs like my previous laptop and I only ended up deleting about 4 before I started my personal set-up.
I've had no problems with running any of my programs - even video and audio editing programs that have high system requirements and I don't think I'll ever fill up a 640GB hard drive.
I'm being picky here but the only things it really lacks are a quality web cam/built in mic (very fuzzy), good speakers (maximum volume seems like it should get much louder) and the lack of a firewire port (for professional video editing - not a common need).
At this price point - I can't complain. It really is the best deal on bestbuy.com.

Bought this laptop to replace a PC. It's superfast, great styling, highly recommended! The price is fantastic, tried to get a similar one directly from Sony, they were $100+ more for a similar model and would not price match. This one is hard to find in stock online at BestBuy though, I had to order mine at 4 a.m.

I received my laptop yesterday, and I love it!!! It is super easy to set up, has great display, amazing sound for the speakers, everything I could ask for! Super fast as well!! I love it! Definitely reccomend this laptop!

This Sony Vaio E Series ( VPCEH35FM) came out last week. I already had a Gateway and wanted to upgrade. I really wanted a mac , but not mac pricing ... So i choose the New Sony Vaio E Series, I received my laptop yesterday. It is wonderful , from the feel , to the speed, the music ( Speakers are Great) the performance is excellent, the key board is great too!!! I normally choose to work on my desktop at home, but i found myself already laying in bed on my laptop due the style of the keyboard. This Sony is worth every penny ... I kinda always wanted a Sony too , but i also felt they were kinda of pricey... I am in love with my laptop... Really Worth the price ... and I received a year from of Antivirus as well ... Great Deal
