What's great about it: If you are a fan of "Ambiance music," or Progressive Rock, this album is a standout! By this selection
What's not so great: CD is a little weak in dynamics, compared to the Vinyl release 'issued in 1985' all in all a great listening experience!
I originally purchased this Album in 1985, over the recommendations of the music store owner and fell in love with it immediately. I had been a fan of Jobson, since his days with Roxy Music, with his Electric Violin solos-especially 'Out Of The Blue,' after co-founding the Progressive Rock Quartet; U.K. in 1978, of which their 1st. album is the only one of note, Jobson plays Keyboards as well as Elec.-Violin, this was his first venture into playing Synths. and other Keyboards with a band. Theme of secret, weaves a subtle repeated theme throughout the album, blending seamlessly and, dare I say, Spiritually, isolating a single piece would do a severe injustice to this album as it should be listened to as a whole. Don't be alarmed if you are not a fan of 'Ambiance' music, this has a lot more mood, depth and emotional breadth than any other in its class! I would recommend this to anyone seeking to expand their musical Repertoire.
I would recommend this to a friend!
