What's great about it: preprogrammed
What's not so great: glitches
It works great for games such as Flight simulator X but sometimes my new pc wont read it and my plane would crash, or it may just read a small portion (throttle works but not the actual stick). It comes preprogrammed but for FSX it is easy to change controls.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: Won't work with Windows 7
DOES NOT WORK WITH Windows 7 x64.
You can install & calibrate in W7, but MS Flight Sims (4 tried so far) will not recognize the stick. Don't waste your money until either Logitech or Microsoft get the drivers corrected.

I have to give hands down to my wife.. I'm the gamer that need top notch gear for my gaming systems. She dared me to cheap it out wuth this item and I have to say it was well worth it. Very easy to use and can handle alot (trust me, I got kids).. All in all, if u want to save some money instead of spending $$$.$$, get this.. Its lasted me for three years and still going...

Bought this joystick specifically for use with the new MS Flight Simulator. Auto install, easy to use, intuitive controls, very responsive. An all-around great product.

What's not so great: placement or lack of controls
i like it very much i only have 2 complaints no ruder control i had to set up buttons 8 and 9 to do that and the placement of the throttle knob it would be nice if it was on the front not the back.other than that its a great product.

What's great about it: Good Price
What's not so great: No Rudder controls
While the stick works well in most other functions, it has no rudder controls. I found this out the hard way when playing WW2 Online and trying to take off. I must've missed it on the box somewhere but it's very unfortunate. If I played a game that didn't need rudders, it would be fine. I ended up returning it for one that had better controls.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: good price, sturdy bulid
What's not so great: no rudder control
I'm training to be a pilot and i got this for fsx demo. GREAT joystick for your money. The only thing I did not like about it is that it doesn't work for rudder controls. If you want to use the rudder feature( which I highly recommend) get the 3d pro. As a beginner I would keep it BUT I am exchanging it for the 3d pro because the 3d pro can take me to the next level of flying. NOT because it a bad joystick, it is a great joystick and I would recommend it to any beginner to flying. SUMMING IT UP: if you are a beginner to flying and just learning the basics this is the joy stick for you. IF YOU ARE an experienced pilot I would get the 3d pro or even a yoke system like the Saitek pro flight stuff . The only thing is that even though it is still on their website it is unavailable from best buy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's not so great: Won't work on varios programs.
Triewd using it on CFS, Jetfighter IV, Helicopter strike force and Strike Fighters and it works on nothing. Even tried setting Windown Vista Ultimate to WQindows 95 and nothing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What's great about it: Comfortable, Smooth stick
What's not so great: Calibration unreliable after months of use, would like more options
This joystick is great for racing games. The stick is smooth and just right for making difficult steering manouvers. It's held up well to months of constant use with the exception that the calibration leans to the right sometimes. But that comes and goes and sometimes re-calibrating it gets rid of that.
It's not perfect and I'm looking for something better as I look for more versatility and options , but I would definetly recommend this as a solid comfortable and reliable joystick.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this around 6 months back and also got this Flight Simulator X Deluxe and Standard versions from Bestbuy. I had a stunning experince flying with this joystick. The only thing is sometimes I will have to rotate the throttle and that isn't possible. However, its a great experince realtime!

What's great about it: Light, but not too light. Nice button layout. Ambidextrous.
What's not so great: Base doesn't work too well for use on lap.
Has a very sleek design, making it easy to grip. Very responsive, which is great for combat flight simulators, but can sometimes be a problem when the stick becomes loose after a lot of use. Base only really works on a solid surface. The symmetrical button setup makes it fully ambidextrous.
I have had almost no problems with mine, even after a year or so of use. It also works well for use in FPS's.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Easy to program, durable, long cord, Non-sliding with active movement
What's not so great: Could have a better design for a hand grip
So, I play pretty much all the Battlefield games... I always chose the ground battle because well lets face it... It's hard to fly a jet with a mouse. Today I brought the Attack 3 joystick home with me. The results? Well, lets just say I that I got my Ace with ease using this joystick.
The "plug'n'play" make it a breeze to install. No software or driver to worry about. Windows picks it up automatically. I would recommend that you go into your Control Panel and then under Game Controllers to calibrate the joystick before you play any game with it.. Not that it's necessary, but it's just good advice. My only complaint is that the feel of the grip seems too slim and doesn't fit the hand very well. It's a minor inconvenience compared to the ease of use and the other plus' such as the cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I just got this a few days ago after my Logitec 3D joystick went out of control and it could not be calibrated no matter what I did.
I thought I would miss the twist rudder control but I really don't.
Indeed I wonder if the twisting of my 3D joystick was what caused it become uncontrollable and “un-calibratible”.
Either way this is a very good joystick when used with the auto-rudder option in FSX or when you assign your rudder function to other buttons.
Now I can fly and land without crashing again!!!

What's great about it: Easy Maneuverability, Right/Left Handed, Easily Accessible Buttons, etc.
What's not so great: No twisting handle
A great joystick, I have had it for 2-3 years now. It has suited me well in my gads of games that I play, such as Combat Flight Sims. The one I got said that I can go onto Logitech's website and download software that allowed me to program my own controls into a game I want to play. The throttle axis, very sensitive, which I mostly like. Helpful in combat situations in games. It also has a high enough weight so that it doesnt move when you are using it. Another great thing: a nice, long cord.
Bottom Line: Any gamer on a budget... this is for you!
