What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: It needs to be weighted at the bottom more. Easily tips over when clothes are hung on it.
I have a dress that has a very full bottom half. It takes me about an hour to iron. I used the steamer and it was wrinkle free in 10 minutes! Then I started steaming everything in the house that was wrinkled. Every time the wrinkles came out in minutes. Awesome product. Throwing my iron and iron board away.

What's great about it: Not terribly expensive, easy to set up and use
What's not so great: Adequate, but not great, performance, have to empty water from equipment after each use
Fairly easy to use and does an adequate, but not outstanding, job at removing wrinkles from clothing and other items. Have to empty water from the equipment after each use. Also wanted to use it to remove wrinkles from several bedspreads and bedskirts, but did not do as good a job on those as on clothing and smaller items.

What's great about it: Works for one year ONLY.
What's not so great: Design flaws, breaks after one year
Bought my first steamer 5 years ago. 1.5 years later it started leaking water from inside. Took it apart, and the small heater tank was cracked in half. It was never low on water, but even if it was, this shouldn't happen. Bought my second steamer, exactly the same. This one would now shut off automatically every 40-50 seconds. This became annoying, and so I took it apart to clean. Found a lot of white/green deposits inside the heater. We used a 7 TDS water, which we have no issue with in our tea water heater. Something with this design is messed up. Too bad Best Buy carries only one brand. For one year this will work great, but after that you will get a new one.

What's great about it: NOTHING!
What's not so great: EVERYTHING
THIS STEAMER IS HORRIBLE, I DEFINITELY WASTED MY MONEY! ITS SLOW TO HEAT UP AND FREQUENTLY STOPS PUTTING OUT STEAM WHILE IN USE. TAKES A LONG TIME TO STEAM ONE ITEM. THEN WHILE WEARING THE ITEM YOU SEE WRINKLES PRETTY QUICKLY AFTER A SHORT TIME WEARING. IVE USED OTHER STEAMERS AND THIS WAS THE WORST, DONT PURCHASE IT OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!

What's great about it: price
What's not so great: everything other than the price
I would not recommend this steamer to anyone. The pole that you hang your clothes on to steam is too short so you have to stay bent over to steam your clothes, the red reset light constantly kicks on only allowing me to steam about 2 minutes, then it keeps the steam from releasing. I find this steamer to be of very poor quality. The area where the water tank is stored is very light plasitic causing the steamer to fall over when not completely full. This steamer worked great for about 2 days and that is about all I got out of and that is why I am returning it today.

What's not so great: you only can see the result in certain kind of materials example nylon but in jeans forget it!
when i bought it was with the intention of forget myself about to iron but in regular kids closeth or t-shirt or a shirt you can start with this steamer but you has to finish iron it!

What's great about it: Easy to Store, Easy to Clean, Works GREAT, You'll NEVER have to Iron Again
What's not so great: Hose is Very Stiff and Hard to Manuever at Times, Can't Put Many Clothes on at one time
I'm a college student and live in a very small apartment and ironing for me is a pain (plus, I burn stuff). This steamer was a very good alternative to ironing and it's easy to store.
I've had my steamer for almost a year now and have never had trouble out of it. The only thing you need to make sure to do is clean out the water tank when you're not going to be using it. Not only does the tank need to be cleaned, but the unit itself because it will build up hard water. Although it requires this maintenance, it's VERY easy to clean.
Also, one thing you need to make sure to check is the reset button on the unit. If you turn it on and it's not working, check the reset button!
Overall, I love this product and it's a great alternative to my busy college lifestyle!

What's great about it: Heats up in less than a minute
What's not so great: Had to hit reset button after each use
This was the best gift I gave to myself at Christmas time. I hate ironing and this solved the problem. Heats up in less than a minute, crisp wrinkle free clothes in minutes. So worth it! I highly recommend it.
My only issue is the 2nd and 3rd time I went to use it, I kept having to hit reset, I wasn't sure why, but do it if for some reason yours isn't heating up quick.

What's great about it: Nothing
What's not so great: Does not work worth a squat
Three people used this and all three determined that it was much faster to use an iron than to wait for this to work. Also, the garment tends to swing around on the pole as you are trying to steam it so you need an extra hand to hold it in place. All three people ended up scalding their fingers trying to do cuffs. It went back.

What's great about it: heats up quickly
What's not so great: not as good as ironing
Its not as good as ironing if you need it to look totally professional but its good enough to touch up. The hose is kind of stiff at first, but after a couple of uses it seems to be lighter. I had a bit of drops come out of the nose of the steamer and into my clothes but never again did I have that problem. But its very useful if you are in a rush and need something to be touched-up.

What's great about it: Quick, efficient, space saving
I have tried many versions of inexpensive steamers...ones built into irons and stand alone ones like this. This is by far the best I've tried yet! Ready to go in about a minute. Works great on my husbands suits too! Remember the laws of gravity.....if you hold the hose too low you will get some sputters of water drops with your steam. I keep mine with the garment rack fully extended so the water can always drain back down. I also use it to hold the cord so I don't have to unwind it each time. I simply roll it out of the bathroom closet when needed and am done in a matter of mins! I haven't touched an iron in months (and am not complaining!).

What's great about it: none
What's not so great: Doesn't work correctly!
I purchased this item at the end of last year. It worked nicely for about 7 uses. Then it stopped working. The "reset" light came on constantly causing the steamer to automatically stop making steam. I would push the reset button, only to have it work for about 10 seconds. This happened constantly, so I attempted to return it. It was past BestBuy's return period, so I had to contact HoMedics since the product has a 2 year warranty. They told me to ship it to them for a replacement. I paid another $45 to ship it UPS and received a replacement about a month later. The very first time I plugged the new unit in and attempted to use it, the reset button was tripped once again. This new steamer never worked. I contacted the maker again, this time they paid for UPS pick up and said they will send me a new unit. About a month later I received the replacement for the 2nd time and it did the SAME thing!!!! I took the unit to a neighbor's house to make sure there was nothing wrong with my electrical sockets (even though I have never had any issues with any other electrical product I have used in my house) and it still didn't work. After dealing with this for several months now, HoMEdics is finally going to refund my money so that I can buy a different product. I suggest you do the same! Another user on BestBuy.com wrote a review stating he had the same problem! Stay away!

What's great about it: better than ironing
What's not so great: stiff at first
This is better than ironing. I have used an industrial steamer, and this steamer works just as good. When you first assemble it the hose is very stiff. You need to use it for a while so you can get it loose. If you can, use filtered water because over time there is some build up near the bucket that you should clean.
