What's great about it: Fair price, durable, lots of space for whatever you're into, fits large laptops, stands on its own!
What's not so great: nothing really. The straps weren't as comfortable as I anticipated and the cross strap is a bit annoying

"I read such great revies on this product and was excited to get it! I have an Alienware 15.4" laptop which is larger than normal notebooks so I was concerned about it fitting in its padded pouch. I was pleased to find that it fit snugly. And there's tons of space for whatever else I could imagine. A really nice aesthetic feature it the fact that even if you don't have much in the pack it won't loose its cool shape! This is due to its super tough materials."

What's great about it: Holds a lot of stuff. Very comfortable. Durable
What's not so great: Little bulky and heavy

"I love this backpack. Its very comfortable, it has a ton of space and pockets for everything and its durable because its held up even though I haven't had it for very long. I use it for school mostly. It holds my laptop, a change of clothes, 6 of my books, 5 folders with all my papers and my notebook, 2 bottles of water and all my laptop accessories with ease. I've also taken it camping. Its perfect for hiking in the woods because its comfortable even on those long hikes. I also use it on long mountain bike trips. Holds everything I need.

It'll hold everything you need for whatever you need. It is a little bit bulky but that's because its made of some really strong materials that don't flex the best but you'll know it'll last because of that. It keeps your notebook dry and stuff on those rainy trips. I've gotten the zippers jammed on some paper and plastics bags but they still work perfectly. A lot of my friends have this bag. After seeing my boss have this one, I wanted to get it."

What's great about it: Great styling. Lots of space. Great price.
What's not so great: None

"I purchased this backpack for 59.99 at Best Buy, and I couldn't be happier. It has all the things you would expect from the normal Swiss Gear attention to detail in all of their products.

Lots of compartments, but not too bulky. Lightweight. Sturdy. Great styling.

What more can I say? A great deal, for sure."

"Would recommend this to anyone who needs a backpack. It really has impressed me, one of the most durable backpacks I have ever owned. You can fit almost everything in it but still find more room. Really light weight and comfortable even with everything in it. Took it with me over to Europe, protected my laptop and kept all my other things secure. If you want to protect your laptop and have lots of room without looking like your hiking a mountain then this is a great one."

What's great about it: Lightweight, durable, functional, comfortable

"I would recommend this backpack to anybody that needs one. For a computer or not, this backpack is the most durable toting item i have ever seen. The materials are top notch, the zippers never break, and there is no danger of the handles or straps coming off. This backpack is also extremely lightweight. It weighs about 1.5 pounds when empty. It feels like air on your back! Also, this backpack is very comfortable. The straps have a lot of padding on them, and the joint with the top of the backpack is a bungie material. So if you hit a bump, nothing gets rattled around in there. this backpack, on top of everything else, is functional. It supports a full 15 inch laptop, along with notebooks, books, etc. The 2 main pockets are very big, and there are a lot of little pockets pockets for doing whatever you want with.
But wait there's more!
Did I mention that you get a nice wireless mouse for next to nothing? Well you do, and it really helps when using a laptop (for obvious reasons...).
BUY THIS ITEM! It does everything you could want, and it comes with a nice mouse!

SWISS SYNERGY BACKPACK is a mush have 05/01/2008

What's great about it: Lots of compartments, Stores a good amount of documents and books, good amount of padding
What's not so great: Bit too big, kind of heavy, too much compartments

"I considered the Synergy Backpack or the traditional laptop suitecase and hands down I went with the Synergy. I love the design of the backpack; its really attractive. It fights my 15.4 HP perfectly and protects it well with good amount of padding.

A drawback could be that it has too many compartments so it'll take a couple of days to get use to it. It fits all of my books and binder perfectly. It can also hold my water bottles very good. The Synergy BackPack also has a Stablizer which means that it can stand on it's own two feet.

The backpack is a bit on the heavy side and kind of big. It doesn't bother me as much after all it fits all of my belongings so it's going to be kind of big and heavy. I like The Synergy backpack it's all-in-one. Some people may not like this type of style, however I find it that it suites me perfectly. I definitely recommend The Swiss Gear Synergy backpack. Enjoy!"

What's great about it: High Quality, Lots of Room, Great Protection
What's not so great: price maybe?

"OK, I admit it, this is a pricey backpack. I read the great reviews of it online but wasn't going to buy it due to the price. When I saw it at the store however, I saw why it cost a lot. It just may be the ultimate computer backpack. It offers great protection for your computer, but also an incredible amount of space for everything else you need. There are pockets everywhere it seems. The padding is wonderful too. Even fully loaded, it is comfortable to carry. This is definitely a case of getting what you pay for. If you are in doubt, check it out at one of the stores. You'll be convinced."

What's great about it: Durable, Versatile, Warranty!
What's not so great: nothing!

"My girlfriend bought me this back pack because I am a mobile DJ. This bag fits my Dell Vostro 1000 (with 15.4" screen), but Serato Scratch Live box, my external hard drive, headphones, cables for all of the above, backup CD's, and there is still plenty of room for more!!! The straps are very comfortable around your shoulders and the reinforced handle on the top reassured you that it will not tear when lifting a loaded backpack.
I didn't realize the price was somewhat high when she purchased it, but I will definetly contest that it is WORTH IT!"

"I read the other reviews on this product just to see if others agree. And they do! This really is the best backpack ever! A bit pricey but worth more. I love the reinforced handle, epescially when I've filled the main pocket with books. I used it throughout my trip to japan, and it was super useful. I've already recommended it to my sister, and will recommend it to everyone else I know. Brilliant piece of equipment."

The best no nonsense pack I have ever bought! 09/20/2007

"I have had ths bag for about two months now and bought it after reading all the reviews, checking out the Wenger web site, and physically inspecting the product. All I have to say is that it is THE best back pack I could have ever hoped to purchase, and I'm not just giving away this complement, I usually find something negative to say about everything, and in this case it would only be that there are way too many places to stow stuff and potentially lose... that's it and not necessarily such a negative either. The cushion on the bag feel great on my back and allow for air to flow. The shoulder straps are broad and distribute weight comfortably, even with a laptop, accessories, biology textbook and binder filled with notes, labs, etc. The main steel cable reinforced handle feels more than sturdy, and the laptop compartment provides plenty of protection with extra thick foam padding, however, I would never dare test it by tossing it several feet into a grassy field like I did as a kid with my old bags, but feel confident that my laptop would be safe if mishandled and dropped. As one reviewer said this is built like a tank and I agree. Buy one to protect your investment."

"This was the most outstanding purchase I ever made for my laptop. It had enough compartments to carry my project binder, books, laptop and all my other accessories for my laptop. It is not like the other backpacks where the material start to wear after a few uses. This is a very durable product. I recommend this backpack if you need space, compartments and durability."
