What's great about it: Music, Lyrics, Emotion
What's not so great: Absolutely nothing!
Dylan's Masterpiece!! Not a false step anywhere. Lyrics, music, studio musicians - it all comes together in perfection. Leaves the Beatles, Stones and anyone else you might have thought about, in the dust. From the rocking out on Rainy Day Women, Stuck Inside of Mobile and Leopard Skin Pillbox Hat - to the aching beauty of Visions of Johanna (my personal favorite Dylan tune of all time), Sad Eyed Lady of the Lowlands and Just Like a Woman. Just listen to Fourth Time Around and then Norweigan Wood by the Beatles. Both have the same subject matter, but Dylan steals the show from Lennon.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Fantastic performance of excellent material
This is the second most acclaimed Dylan album of all time.
Featured are "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35" and
"Just Like A Woman", but here is so much more to this album than that.
His songwriting shows a new maturity and sensitivity which are extremely refreshing. Critics and followers alike hailed this as his best ever. Though that can be debated, this is no doubt that this represents one of the best efforts he has ever presented to his vast audience.
Excellence is rarely achieved but once by an artist in the music business, but Dylan keeps on making his own rules.
An absolute neccesity for any collection ?
THE ANSWER IS A DEFINITIVE "YES".
